Very well produced but it got far too graphic for my liking and I turned it off.
A shame as I was enjoying it up to "that" point, but that sort of graphic content is not for me I'm afraid.
I was really looking forward to this, but too many reports like this for my liking so gonna have to give it a miss. A shame as I was enjoying it up to "that" point, but that sort of graphic content is not for me I'm afraid.
Appreciate this is all probably a good reflection of the times, but I was more fascinated to see more about the actual 'story' as was hoping it'd be more focussed on that than the gore.
Paul, there is perhaps fifteen minutes of gore, violence and torture in the whole thing and it's not particularly graphic. There is another two hours and 45 minutes of story and exposition.
When I heard about the outcry after the first episode, I actually went back and watched again to see what I had missed the first time I watched it. Can't really see what all the fuss is about to be honest. In fact, I wonder if it's the BBC's self publicity machine that's behind the complaints.
