You can drive a large bus with less than 9 passengers on a car licence?

What about the 7.5 ton limit?
Pardon?

Noel Edmonds claims that he used a taxi for ages to use the bus lane, then once they banned that he bought a routemaster bus.

He claimed it could be driven on a car licence with less than 9 passengers.

It would appear you can drive a historic bus over 30 yrs old on a car licence under special and historic exemptions. No mention of weight limits just no more than 8 passengers

Stephen Fry and Prince Phillip are the two well known for driving around in London taxis in the past (I guess Phillip doesn't any more!). Didn't know Noel had one as well.

They are all listed in this 2015 article anyway
https://www.coventrytelegraph.net/whats-on/whats-o...

Can't imagine a London Bus is particularly quick way to beat the traffic, bus lanes or not, if you're not used to driving them nimbly every day; and they certainly can't be cost effective!

Good ol' Harry with another gem - "i'm not a puzzler" & attempting water based keepie uppie's with the bar of soap hehe

Liking Noel even more after the Taxi / Routemaster workaround hehe

And it's probably fair to say that Emily's driving skills are on a par with some of the posters on here based on some of the posts you get in General Gassing hehegetmecoat

Michael O'Leary of Ryanair misery owns a taxi firm in Dublin which naturally gets access to all the bus lanes.

It has one client. Him.

Surprised. I hoped Anne would leave, she isn’t really engaging in the show.

Noel was a pretty interesting guy.

I like Rita, but thought Noel was better value - surprise public choice.

Anne’s effort with that drink tonight just confirmed she was drinking cola last time out.

I really thought Noel stood a chance of winning.

I'm disappointed, I had Noel in the top 4, the last few days could have been funny.

Its a shame so many had immunity as most of them safe should have been in the bottom 6

I'm not keen on Rita, certainly didn't try in the drinking challenges earlier in the show

Noel looked like he was suffering from shock, reckon he did not expect that.

I guess the yoofs of today probably don't know who Noel is. I think he earned £60k per day for his 10 days and now he will enjoy his stay in a nice Hotel so I don't think he will be too upset.
I wasn't impressed with Rita she didn't really enter into the spirit of things and Anne never actually got started.
Who's next then?

I'd have put Sair, James, Rita and Malique in the bottom four.
I don't get all the hatred for Noel at all.
This immunity nonsense ruins the show I think, means we are stuck with the lightweights who don't add much to the show at the expense of someone entertaining.
'Arry the winner for me, closely followed by Nick. John has been far more likeable than I thought he would be too.

I really wanted to dislike John B I think he is just too loud but in all honesty other than Rita I find all of them really decent sorts and Emily is just so so likeable you just want to scoop her up and protect her.
