I didn't mind Nick to start with, but over the last week he became more grumpy and a bit less involved. I did wonder whether he was getting fed up with some of the younger ones (Fleur/Emily) who seemed unable to shut up, but his last few days just got properly weird. Not wanting to go to the pub, and then spouting bks about the moon landings being faked... think it was definitely time for him to go.

Apart from obvious sarcasm ,no.

It's highly unlikely Nick wrote Beatles songs under the age of 10 ,born 1962.

I've watched less of this more recently and Nick seemed okay but obviously went a bit bonkers ,perhaps in the same camp

as Noel literally and figuratively.

Can someone explain the Biffy Clyro mentions that Dec always goes on about....

Nick said he was in a bar or something where Biffy were and he ended up jamming with them or something like that. He played with them at some point anyway.

Nick made a big deal about how he'd jammed with Biffy Clyro on the roof of the Beeb or somewhere like that.He seemed to think that made him a cool dude rockstar. I reckon hearing how Chris Moyles had blagged him to a No 1 spot was the thing that tipped him over the edge. I can see him packing in the DIY shows to make it big as a singer. His weird rambling in the Pub reminded me of Vanessa Feltz in Big Brother.

I don't follow celebrity type stuff, so I hadn't realised Emily's mum was Kate Robbins. She doesn't appear on telly very much these days, but she used to be on quite a few shows, and also there was her brother Ted who was also a regular on our screens.

Greg James had one of Biffy Clyro on the radio 1 breakfast show a few weeks ago and he said it was nothing quite like that.
