Can't imagine how anyone could consider.....Helen Baxendale 'wierd crush' material.
Once upon a long ago, I took a lady I was really wanting to impress to an alternative theatre.

Helen Blaxendale was starring ( before she was famous ).

I thought the audience was a bid odd, as it wasn't what I would describe as typical theatre goers.

Just a load of dirty old men.

I didn't have long to wait, Helen, and her co-stars came onto the set stark bk naked and acted in the nudey for 2 and a bit hours.

Dirty old men - happy as fk.
My date - not so happy at my choice
Me. Play was very well done, dirty old me chugging one out soured the romance, my date - never heard from again.

Even although a lot of the play was in the nude, it was very well acted, and you didn't think about the nudity after the first 3 minutes.
are you saying your attention span with a beautiful woman is 3 mins ? nono
No.
After 30 years.... my attention to Helen Blaxendale is still rather uplifting smile

Just odd that the first time I saw her act, 50-100 dirty old men seemed to be polishing their glasses under their raincoats.

She and rest of the cast took no notice - and delivered a corker of a performance of the play.

It wasnt "Steaming" by Nell Dunn was it? The theatre club at school went to see that....an all boys school, of COURSE it was in the interests of cultural enlightenemnt

Most of my telly crushes are decidedly non-weird - Felicity Kendall, Sarah Alexander, Charlotte Uhlenbrook, Alice Roberts, Rachel Riley, Bettany Hughes, but consider these:

Kirstie Allsopp - posh totty, none better

Miranda Hart - tall, nice eyes, bit posh

Alice from the vicar of Dibley - once again, nice eyes

Helen Rosslyn, bit of an obscure one, first saw her presenting a documentary on Rosslyn Chapel (which is owned by her husband's family) a couple of years back, and since then she's done some documentaries on art history. No youngster but, I thought, really attractive - always impeccably dressed, nice hair and very well spoken - oh blimey, we're back to the posh totty again...

But my all-time favourite probably goes back ten years or more. It was in a TV advert for Heinz ketchup or something and showed a rather nice young lady making a bacon sarnie. Never seen the actress before or since but she was absolutely heavenly.

And I've just reminded myself there was an advert for chocolate, it may have been Galaxy or similar, showing a rather fetching young lady looking out of a rainy window. This was in the 80s and I still lust after her, whoever she was.

Is Nigella Lawson a 'Weird Crush"?

My wife and a female friend of mine both think she's horrible, but I can't agree!

My mother took a young teenage me to see that.
It gave me a whole new appreciation for theatre! I would imagine these days you wouldn't be allowed to take your kids to a show like that.

Nothing weird about Nigella! She's premier league MILF material!
Women don't like her because men lust after her, they are jealous.... I think she could give you a great evenings entertainment and a cracking breakfast the next day.

(Noticed she has lost a bit of weight and isn't as curvaceous in her new series as normal.....which is a shame )

This one?

No, it's not that one, or this one..

Neither of them would be weird crushes either, especially if you like the thought of a woman chowing down on a chocolate log...

No, I'm reasonably sure it was Galaxy, not Flake. She wasn't overtly sexy, just ... sort of, nice.

Got a bit of a thing for Jenny "The Vixen" off of The Chase at the minute. Something about that red hair and those dimples that does it for me!...

There's something vaguely sinister about those ovens. What was that fairytale where two kids visit an old lady and she tries to get them to 'try the ovens for size'.

Jesus, she looks so sensible she probably checked left and right before crossing her legs!
