It certainly needs a good kick up the arse as it has become too formulaic and very boring. Only bothered to watch the first episode of the last series. Hopefully less sob stories this time too.

Maybe being set in another country will mean a few less health and safety restrictions to make it a bit more exciting/dangerous.

The CS gas test escaping from a room and crossing a ravine by rope is in the first episode according to the blurb on Sky.

Looks like more of the same.

He's exactly how you imagine an American version of Ant would be.

Search Rudy Reyes into YouTube - many videos where he comes across as a total cock.
Particularly the BBC interview where he flexes his way through the whole thing.

Not to make a sweeping generalisation of one group of people but are all Americans so confident in their own abilities.

My boss is American and he's the number one know it all. Anything that comes up at work. He's done it before in a previous job.

Seems very similar to Rudy and his new mate who's name I've not remembered yet.

The Royal Marines beat their US counterparts in a major exercise recently, so comprehensively that the US Marines asked if they could start again half way through. I'm sure this bloke is formidable enough, but it confirmed my view that the British lads have far more credibility.

I started a thread about that. It's very good and on Sky the whole thing is available to download. Might be the same on iPlayer.
