I'm sure the sob stories and relationship counselling sessions aren't part of real SAS training.

No. However, being stood in a pitch back room with cut out kidnappers beside you while the team burst in and fire live rounds into the cut outs is.

With some of the aerial shots I fully expect Ant and Dec to march in with the results of the public vote.

They seemed to have toned down the shouty nonsense of the last series. Back to more how it was.

True but I became quite fond of angry keanu in the end once he'd mellowed slightly. Glad he's still in it.

Loving foxy's little digs and quips and nice to see Billy getting head honcho status.

Thought the first girl's sob story was a bit st. Was expecting her to say that she'd been sexually assaulted etc but no it was "I got dumped" (appreciate that it was potentially a bit more traumatic than just that, clearly hints of toxic / abusive relationship).

The ADHD chef obvs has some demons, poor bd. Heck of a scar down his face too.

Foxy’s one liners are brilliant.

Foxy is the best.

Foxy was in Portsmouth yesterday with a mate of mine, he was training premiership footballers on anti kidnap stuff.

Saw him do one of his live talks. Audience was basically blokes who'd been dragged along by their salivating girlfriends.

I'm surprised they went to Vietnam for the location, would have thought they'd have done borneo.

Mainly due to the snakes and other wildlife.

The interrogation phase could become spicey, doubt they'd let a 70ish local do it, but could see the local 'police' getting involved and accusing them of being drug dealers/runners (if they are close to the Cambodian border)

They showed his face in that episode of this series, right near the beginning as they're getting out of the cars IIRC.

Anyone watching the US Celeb version?

I think half the recruits have quit and they're only on day 4 of 10. One of the guys left gobbed off at Billy and rather than cut him they had a sit down chat and let him carry on. Probably desperate to keep the numbers up otherwise they'd be having to finish early lol.

Tried to watch it but didn't really know anyone on it so haven't bothered anymore.

If you don't recognise any of the 'celebrities' then surely it can just be viewed like a normal non-celeb edition of the series?

Watched an episode last week. The DS' did seem to go a bit easier on them than in the UK version.
