Yeah when he came on the scene I called him Angry Keanu but he seems to have dropped that and generally seems to be quite supportive of the recruits.

Sideshow Bob cos Billy is fronting as lead? Either cos Billy is the senior jungle specialist, or production (entirely UK I'm guessing) want it that way, or a bit of both.

I'm sure he'll get plenty to do/make noise about.

That's what was reported but the US Marines said it was a pack of bks. But then they would say that wouldn't they.

Royal Marines and US Marines are two different animals.

Royal Marines are the dedicated commando amphibious assault branch of the Royal Navy. The US Marines are a seperate armed force and have a much broaderer remit.

That means the average US Marine is not as well trained and effective as a Royal Marine, but the US Marine Corps as a force dwarfs the Royal Marines (many times over!)

Zima Anderson (neighbours actress) has had a nasty fall in the Aussie series.

Didn't show the fall, but if she fell on to concrete from the platform it appeared she was to jump from it seems a miracle it wasn't worse.

The Mrs likes this program, but I found one on iPlayer called Soldier which I think is a lot better than this staged garbage. I probably prefer it because it's real life rather than a celeb wkfest.

Really enjoyed watching Matt Cockinhand getting interrogated last night. His true colours were shining through, getting proper shirty and arrogant. Can't wait for next week when they go full bore (as much as they're allowed) into him.

They will end up pulling him out for being a liability to himself and his team. Not before they absolutely tear strips off him and completely break down this facade of ‘Im just a normal man doing a very hard job to the very best of my abilities at all times’ that he’s been working very hard on.
