Firefighter guy though, wow!
On his Insta he has some runs posted he has done. 15 miles @ 7:26/mile, AvgHR 145. Looked like an easy run for him. He could probably bang out a sub 3 marathon. Which is some going for a guy his size. Sure he has low BF but he is carrying much more bulk than most marathoners.

Impressive.
Very similar build to last years joint winner Matt Sallis.

Looking forward to next week...interrogation!
I was wondering if at anytime during the interrogation in seasons 2-4 (S1 was in the UK so unlikely) did any of them start to wonder if this is actually the show or have they really been caught by the foreign military and mistaken for an actual Army? I know they are introduced to the umpire guy before it all starts but still when your mind is struggling you might start to worry.

Incidentally few posts back people were talking about how much service in UKSF some of the guys had. I was booking tickets to go see Billy's tour and read his bio statement. He did 9 years in the paras and 27 years in the SAS. Was SAS ground commander in London during the 2005 terror attacks and awarded MBE for all the hostage rescues hes led. Hes a fking legend.

Remained in the reserves after he left and went on to become a bodyguard to the starts. Apparently he practically clothes-lined Peneople Cruz when he thought she was attacking Tom Crusie and whilst guarding Brangelina he tripped and fell down the stairs and knocked himself out.

He was funny this week interviewing "Rupert". "fking fitness is fking boring, you're a fking boring tt".
No shows anywhere near me for a long time. frown

Ollie Ollerton runs "who dares wins" type events

https://break-point.co.uk/product/denied-new-23-fe...

£495 for a weekend. Not too bad

Yeah nearest one to me is not till months away.

I've seen Ollies break point stuff, looks good. Just not fit enough as the minute
For the basecamp type events you only need a very basic level of fitness.

After the break that'll be Louise VW'ing I suspect.

I imagine I'm quite tough mentally, but I don't reckon I could do 4 hours of that, let alone 18!

dur, why apply at all? Only automotons who will comply 100% to join ze team, ja! Everyone struggles with something. People apply for lots of reasons, maybe they wanna push that one single thing, maybe there's a dozen other things.
I fancy applying, but I@m only half hearted on some things, and some things I don't know where my snap point would be, just bevause you may go out in 2 mins doesn't mean you shouldn't apply, I would think this wouldn't need evenasking.
Hey bro come off your cycle.

The barrels don’t look 40kg. 40 pounds maybe.
no way a slightly built female would lift one of those above the head and hold it.
