I'm not usually a fan of such programmes, as I've mentioned before, but there is something intriguing about this programme (And similar ones, there was a Foreign Legion based series, too, I recall).
Was that the one with Bear Grylls?M

Good to see billy getting stuck in again tonight.
Top man is Billy. No one stands out so far this season as being particularly good. Last season it was clear from the off that Mark was going to do well.

There was a lad all tattoos who looked like he was about to get hypothermia. I don't think he'll be there for long. Famous last words - just watch him win it now!!
Am I the only 1 getting sick and tired of seeing "oh I'm so strong I'll smash the patriarchy and show everyone us girls are just as tough" women get all fking emotional at something that's effectively nothing!
Suck it up! You knew what you were going in for, your emotional wreck nature (and the inside guy having to cheer her up FFS!) is dull. Just fking quit!
Surely the shows makers can find women contestants who aren't fktards!

The ones who aren't fktards are also the ones who aren't running their mouths about patriarchy and feminism. They're the ones who just get their heads down. Sadly, they don't make "great TV".Suck it up! You knew what you were going in for, your emotional wreck nature (and the inside guy having to cheer her up FFS!) is dull. Just fking quit!

Did you see him changing in the scene previous to the fighting? He was completely ripped; a real monster.
I did see that, and I thought it was mr sas at first. He has plenty o muscle, made me wonder if he has taken his supplements with him.. He seemed to have more pep than the other fella though it's such a tough environment we don't k ow how it knocks each person.

Bet the production company were sh**ing bricks when that guy started running towards the canadian soldier with a rifle in his hands.
Yeah, I thought that...if you have ever seen a blank fired at close range in to a watermelon you realise how dangerous it is.Jon-Eric Hexam was killed by one (actor)

Yeah, I thought that...if you have ever seen a blank fired at close range in to a watermelon you realise how dangerous it is.Caught up with the first two episodes last night. Enjoying the fact it’s in Scotland, looks properly brutal out there.
Some initial thoughts... not really liked any of the group so far. Plenty not had much telly time but the rest all seem to have some kind of ‘interesting’ back story like you get on X factor and the like... some sob story about their childhood. That blonde chick who wants to do better than men because she was attacked in a club just comes across as a douche. I liked the stupid squeal she made when doing the backwards fall into the water... what a ‘tard. Afterwards she was giving it large... hopefully she goes home in a pile of shame, although I expect there will be some dramatic ‘medical’ reason for her leaving so she can pretend she was strong enough and it wasn’t her choice to go.
Not liking the new DS either. He seems a bit too smug. All the other ex special forces guys just give off gravitas without even trying... he just doesn’t do it for me. Also his intel on the others members of the group was rubbish and didn’t say a lot at all, he seemed led by Ant. I wish they did like the did in the first series, only identify the mole to us part way through, to keep us guessing. It was disappointing they sprang it from episode one.
Made me realise how weak and unfit I am though. 40kg barrel over the head feels to me, like a fair amount to get pressing overhead.

Yeah I'm quite fit, though not got the best shoulder strength and I've got long arms.... But overhead press with a bar and 2 X 10 kg plates is something I find tough. Certainly I don't think I could do many more than about 5 in one go. And that's an easy to use bar. Not a barrel. Some initial thoughts... not really liked any of the group so far. I think it was made worse by the weight being made up with water inside the barrels. So the weight wasn't stable; instead, constantly moving about in the shell.Given the barrels were pre-allocated, they must have made them different weights, if only between men and women.
Though, having said that, the ugly sister can out-deadlift me
