Goblin Works Garage on Quest
Discussion
Nothing else on so attempted to watch it last night.....
Nodded off at some point.....probably not long after he was in that 'Z' barn and bought the ducktail.....
Unfortunately I woke up before the end........ just as they pulled the cover of the paint/body kit abomination..........
Another car painfully ruined by this bunch of clowns.......(or rather the other people they pay to do the work, as I seriously doubt they do any of it)

What a mess the car looked with that front dam and why gulf colours?
Cringed at the gtr ride and the test session at Rockingham. All strutting about in race overall, no helmets. Interesting that she had her harnesses on in a conventional way if a bit slack, but the bloke driving had his harnesses looped over the top of the head rest, wtf was that about?

It looked like the seats didn't have proper cut outs for harnesses, so they were just slung over the top or round the sides. What was going on with the exhaust hanging down underneath too ?Cringed at the gtr ride and the test session at Rockingham. All strutting about in race overall, no helmets. Just lazy TV programming from Quest. I note they're also running that terrible ''Classic Car Rescue'' series again, with Bernie and another American/Canadian in an effort to broaden its appeal. Utter dross full of faux drama and self imposed deadlines.
Like most of us here I imagine, I'll watch most car related TV content in the hope of seeing something of interest. The dirge churned out by Quest (and Dave to some extent) is just insulting. It's as if they think non car people just wouldn't understand anything remotely technical and having those 3 clowns (Goblin) prancing about in race overalls, whilst taking the credit for work done by other people is almost laughable. If only the program makers put in as much effort as they do in deleting negative social media comments, in an effort to cultivate some kind of following for their ''creations''.
Think rubbish TV, then think even more rubbish.

Watched the repeat,so much fail.
First line in the show, weird beard says it's a supercar ,then says performance is "brutal".
It was a good sports coupe but neither of the above are accurate.
Spotted the seat belt thing mentioned, both of them might as well had not bothered using belts at all.

That beautiful 2CV. Until they got it....
Just watched a repeat, and anyone else spot the fact the "banded" wheels clearly were too wide to fit on the back of the 2cv? Driving round with wide ones on the front and std narrow ones on the back massive fail! What a joke. What an inexcusably poor TV show.
I'm banned from their FaceBook page.
I never once wrote anything aggressive or obscene but I did point out a few things, such as the Capri not being built by them, the unsafe use of harness seat belts and the fact their banded steels didn't fit, despite all of their mechanical / engineering skills. I also asked why they felt the need to dumb down anything that was remotely technical?
Final question was what detergent do they use to keep their overalls to clean?

I had a bit of a comment thing with one of them on FaceBook where he went on about how skilled he was and how they know their work is some of the best out there. They blocked me soon after though sadly. Shame as I wanted to congratulate him on the way they used the harnesses in the 280.
