Goblin Works Garage on Quest
Discussion
Contrary to the normal PH bashing, I quite like it. An easy watch and certainly better than celebrity singing bake-off in the jungle pap.
Sure their cars are not always to my taste, but it is entertaining enough and I like the fact they do some none obvious stuff, the Viva for example was pretty cool all bar a couple of things easily changed.

The whole show is such a blatant lie.
They said what a bargain it was to pay £3k for such a rare car, even if it was a project car, yet £3k is the normal going rate for them.
The car had obviously been prepped to look like a basket case and looked like it was in great nick to start with. The exhaust was obviously a kit from Demand engineering and I think had minimal input from the 'artisans' at Goblin works ( https://www.instagram.com/p/B66VhaWArFT/ )
And then the usual 'buyer' who doesn't mind paying the most ridiculous amount of money with no questions asked.
They had Meguiars in to sort out the paint too. They said what a bargain it was to pay £3k for such a rare car, even if it was a project car, yet £3k is the normal going rate for them.

And another thing. I always assumed frenched in meant setting into a pocket not just fitting something flush those rear lights were hideous.
You are correct, it does mean recessed and setting into a pocket, not flush fitted. We aren't dealing with people that actually know anything though, its a 100% fake show with 100% fake presenters. Quite how its still being made is beyond my understanding.

They were terrible. I don't know why he had to heat the metal to bend it around the light frames as it's a very gentle bend.If they spent £7,000 on that (plus the £3k purchase price that isn't quite right) I'd be amazed. Set of wheels and tyres, a steering wheel, fancy exhaust, waste of time rear light modifications (which surely aren't legal, with no reflector), a sheet of yellow tint material with some bits left over for the headlamps and a box of overpriced stuff to clean the car without using water. Oh, and a front spoiler, or "splitter" as they seemed to call it.
The one saving grace is that all the stuff they put on it will easily come off again, when it finally sells for a normal price to someone who exists.
I was reading this thread earlier today . quite by chance I found this russian gargae builder video. The guys are quite refreshingly genuine. the project is simple fun. Although maybe that tesla bloke was paying for everything?
