Goblin Works Garage on Quest
Discussion
First time ever watching this and missed the start.
Is it meant to be like Pimp my Ride with a £5k budget or something.
They did some pretty basic work on a Cayenne.
The lass helped take a wrap off, apply some wrap on the tail lights and replaced a bit of trim in the centre console.
The bloke with the Irish, American, English accent or whatever it was supposed to be just changed some springs and added some side steps.
Even after all the work they couldn't be bothered to sand the headlights, they were so cloudy.

Reminds me of this...wonder what those ‘Artisans’ would do with it.

It's genius! I can't bring myself to watch it but I can't bring myself to turn it off either.
Me too, it is so bad it is compulsive.Porsche has a good mot history seems to have been well Maintained but not too well looked after bodily.
DVLA shows 158000 miles and LPG not mentioned on GWG but maybe a mistake on DVLA.
Why modify rear lights and leave the frosted fronts? Surely an MOT failure? Why does she work with these silver rings on, a H and S issue if ever I saw one.
Would you spend £10K on a car this old with that many miles?
Owner’s face on the reveal said it all don’t think he was immediately overawed, but seemed happy in end when it had sunk in.
Hope GWG paid for work done and he did not shell out the money, he seemed a genuine car enthusiast judging by the cars he previously owned most were better than this either before or after the “artisans” meddled with it.

He just wasn’t expecting a pretty dull / boring blue.
I like the way @ the end, his little girl is pointing to the Porsche badge. 6/10
( Think it might be on e-bay soon... for about 20k)

What a joker bringing that s**t heap to them! The dude was in fantasy land with that car!
I wouldn't be surprised if it's recorded, if not it's because the previous owner / man who saw him coming who sold it to him only had third party insurance.
She painted the brakes, then left them blank, they could have at least got some black Porsche decals, put those on and clear coated over them.
They said new wheels, umm no, they refurbished his kerbed up crusty set. Also, the centre caps looked weird not being the same colour as the wheels.
They said they'd given it a full respray, they must have washed it with gravel afterwards as the swirl marks when they showed it an that car shop at the end were awful! The headlights badly needed sorting out, but they left them.
As for wanting to annoy the neighbours, he'll sure do that! Give it a few days till it gets keyed & he cries about it, or better still a bit longer till it mysteriously catches fire.

Each episode gets worse, unbelievably. How the guy bought the Porshe, to only to discover a few days later the awful wrap. Specsavers eh ? The team did their usual all talk, no substance. Virtually everything is done by 'another', off screen, and magically appears. Even spraying the previously cleaned and prepared calipers was a joke, a simply st spray gun, and compressor set up.
