Better episode than last week. Not that that would be difficult!

What happened to the Porsche at the end?! Sold, unsold, pushed back into a barn?!

They didn't give a conclusion for the Lotus +2 last week either ,noticed it lurking in tonight's show too.

scratchchin Are they going to copy that other show where they hold a car back each week and then send them all to auction?

The Lotus didn't need a conclusion - it was only in the show for approx 90 seconds! The rest wa focused on that heap of a Golf!

No way the mini was worth 11k. Huddersfield mini spares probably bit the bullet on an hour long free advert.

Boggo Mini, reshelled with a Mk3 shell, and with Mk2 Copper badges and a RH tank.

But then they've put black/silver number plate on the back and newer white plate on the front..............WTF laugh
A right old bitsa, Drew kept banging on about originality but the only 1969 items attached to it were probably the engine, gearbox and V5C, and the badges they used were off a Mk1 Cooper!

Just seen something on Twitter where Tall Paul says the Golf had its black trim on the tailgate stuck on after the reveal, and that at the reveal the car didn’t have its engine and was weighed down with 50 litres of water instead!

I really want to like it.... But this ste about originally and that Mini was a bag of random Mini bits and a V5.

Selling prices quoted are also bonkers.

From December 2017,
Registration plate lamp not fitted (1.1.C.1b)
Front registration plate missing (6.3.1a)
All position lamps not working (1.1.A.3b)
Hazard warning lamps inoperative (1.4.B.1b)
Horn not working (1.6.2a)
Rear fog lamp not working (1.3.2b)
Exhaust system not adequately supported mounts loose (7.1.1)
Nearside Rear Shock absorber detached (2.7.2b) Dangerous
Nearside Rear wheel bearing has excessive play (2.6.2)
Nearside Windscreen wiper does not clear the windscreen effectively (8.2.2)
Offside Windscreen wiper does not clear the windscreen effectively (8.2.2)
Offside Lower Front suspension ball joint dust cover excessively deteriorated so that it no longer prevents the ingress of dirt (2.4.G.2)
Advisory notice item(s)
Central Exhaust has a minor leak of exhaust gases (7.1.2)
Offside Front suspension has slight play in a upper suspension ball joint (2.5.B.1a)

The Porsche is still unsold. It's on eBay now.

Drew "Mr know it all" called the 928 a common car.

Really ?

I rarely see any apart from a car show or meet.

Mini was nice enough but a complete parts bin. To be fair I didn't hear them refer to it as a cooper but I didn't see the very beginning. It also wasn't cooper money but I'm not really sure why they even looked at it as wasn't an original anything.
928 - everyone knows not to buy unloved 928s. They cost a fortune unless (and probably even if) you know lots about them.
Poor or very risky choices this week, smacks of poor research or just a TV show.

Their Mini had a single SU carb, so it was no Cooper. It also had an S badge on the bonnet. eek
'Expert' Drew referred to the 928's 5-litre V8; not on a 1983 model!

Mr Pritchard is a bit too arrogant for my liking.

Better than that Goblin Garage tosh, but only just.

Another fake car programme, that bitsa mini was shocking, nothing cooper about it apart from the badges, rat face knows very little about cars, it had a reshell and one carb. The sell it like the golf for over 10 grand in a fake sale . I liked the mot history too I had already Googled it. The cars seem a death trap all shiny paint and new seats and full of horrors below. Also it turned up to the mini bloke with a missing front number plate, a hole where the rear plate light should be and no mot. How daft do they think we are.

Exactly this.
I did fancy one, but the amount of 928 adverts that said ' just spent 6K at garage' really put me off. Mondeo money but aging supercar parts soon made my decision to leave well alone.
