What is your pitch for a commercially successful car programme?
Anything without DP, don’t like marmite either.

So much for the buyer saying it was a keeper..... (if the person on the show really was the buyer of course)
I missed this episode (un)fortunately and accidentally came across the advert. Please tell me that Drew didn’t add the ‘period features’ of roof rack and pillar mounted spotlight and door mirror. vomit

I think the spot lamp was put on by the original owner in period IIRC... (a popular mod for night navigation trials etc in period wink) but the roof rack is more likely a very recent fit, and very naff.

I was watching the MGA episode yesterday and amongst the credits was mechanic Paul Brackley. I am assuming this is the same Paul Brackley who used to help Edd China on Wheeler Dealers?
I have seen his name on the credits for Flipping Bangers too.
His Twitter bio..
Wheeler Dealers 2004 - 2015
Flipping Bangers 2017 - 2018
Salvage Hunters Classic Cars 2019 -
Paul Brackley is also working with Edd China & Co on Edd's YouTube channel since 20?? (Edd began his active YT career in 2017)

It's back on next Wednesday, the trailers for it show the green Porsche 914, maybe it'll be on it this time round? They've had it in the background for a couple of seasons.

Caption said filmed March 2018. So they've not been showing them in any kind of sequence, the Alfa auto for example, that they switched to manual was bought at a CCA auction in 2020 during lockdown! Perhaps they've been 'saving' a few up.

Not showing up on dvla website so either not mot’d since or number has been changed.

He is still a prat, they are known to be moneypits, I considered buying one about six years ago, but the cost of restoring bodywork put me off, it is handmade, one panel may not fit another and new panels have to be modified to fit your car definitely not a bolt on job

Since the cars were made in West Brom, The 2nd and 3rd letters EA were the local Dudley area registration. I'd think NEA 5L would have been retained or sold on, so I doubt he could get it unless he bought it back! Makes sense now why it was delayed.... scratchchin

Lovely to see skilled craftsmen at work. Hugely expensive restoration.

NEA 5L now registered on a blue Jensen with a 7.2 litre engine, i was too sceptical! New V5c was issued on 23/09/22 so this one looks like it may have actually sold.
