Me and the Mrs watched From Dusk Till Dawn last night. I have seen it many times - it was the Mrs first viewing!

have a guess at which point she says - "What the fk is going on?"

biggrin
Ha! I still remember seeing it the first time with no prior knowledge of any plot or seeing any trailer. Still remember the 'what the actual fk is going on here' moment.

Good film though.

I love that film but I still remember clearly the confusion at the change point. I wondered if I'd fallen asleep and woken up in a different film or if I'd pressed a button.

I might have one scene involving some music and snake in my youtube favourites wink

Jumanji. The original one. Never seen it before, obviously the animal effects look rather dated but overall not too bad a film.

Psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them, I don't give a fk how crazy they are!

Ingrid Goes West

I find Aubrey Plaza very watchable so I guess I was sold on this anyway, but it was an enjoyable way to pass 90 minutes. It's fairly on the nose with its depiction of social media but it's also not difficult to recognise plenty of similar characters in my daily life.

The Italian Job (original)

It's of its era but it's snappily made, looks great and there is no wasted time. Plus all the cool cars.
Shamefully for PH I had to look up what the mafia boss was driving.

Tom Cruise in American Made. Cruise surprises me every now and again by appearing in something outside of the mainstream blockbuster roles. Funny, fast moving, well shot look at drug running in the USA in the 80's.

Been waiting for this for ages, doesn't appear to have any screenings locally though.

I hadn’t heard of this but just watched the trailer and it looks like exactly my kind of thing. I’ll try to see it soon.

Same thing here, although I found it, ahem, on the internet. Excellent quality as well.

Just watched Train to Busan, the Korean zombie film, it's been mentioned many times already.

Seems 12ish on beeb 2 weekdays is the time to catch classics of yesterday; including Scott of the Antarctic, Whisky Galore! and In Which we Serve.
