I've never seen the Princess bride.
It's one of my favourite films, so I am biased, but I would thoroughly recommend it.
Is it better than Space Jam?
I know it sounds almost inconceivable, but not only is it better than Space Jam, it's better than Tremors.

i'm not one to gush, but it's a 5/7

Could it be bettered? It would take a miracle.

Joking aside, I hope they never do a remake of it; it's perfect as it is.

I was saying it as a joke as it’s a direct quote ( or at least close enough) to the film you were talking about. That is quite an important scene in the film and it popes in my head. HL says your obviously think your cleverer than me because you caught me he says no you have disadvantages.

I have no idea what you mean by affect I don’t care that you didn’t like it that’s all good.

I do like like it.

Many people like different things I’m not one of those that gives a st.

Lighten up Francis.
If you're going to go all keyboard warrior on me, the least you could do is ensure your spelling and grammar are up to scratch. smile

Yes, that’s what I did. Look how insulting I was as I was explaining why I wasn’t insulting you.

Names called the full gamut. I well known for insulting strangers on the internet. Do it all the time.

But carry on thinking every post is a attack and meant in the worst way possible. It’s a good mental place to be.

I apologise , I assumed you would have the wit to remember a line in a film you had literally just watched, I was wrong I over estimated you.

Turns out you do have disadvantages.

Ps that was an insult. You obviously don’t know the difference so I had to explain.

I’ll go back you talking about films you do whatever.

Watched Taps again last night, not seen it since the VHS days of the early 1980s.

Had me riveted right from the start, forgotten how good it is.

Tigerland

A brilliant film with Colin Farrell amongst others. Very well acted by all and yet another film that doesn't glorify war or the preparations for it.

Okay, Colin Farrell drops his American accent and his broad Irish brogue slips out every now and again but he's only human!

Can't imagine how I missed this one over the years and just chanced upon it while browsing!

Recommended. 8.2 rookies/10 mud soaked veterans.

Makes me want to see, In Bruges again.

Mr Right. Hot but annoying girl falls for bloke who turns out to be an assassin with a conscience who now goes around killing people who trying to hire him as an assassin. Not bad and Sam Rockwell is very good in I think the first thing I've seen him in since Moon. 7/10

It's very fondly remembered on here as some sort of classic, which it isn't. A nicely observed, witty, Rob Reiner movie, with long gaps between the witty bits. Tremors, on the other hand, is a bona fide watch hundreds of times laugh-out-loud super-movie. No comparison.

It probably is better than Tremors, it's iconic.
Tremors is damn good though, has lost nothing itself.
They are both great.

Guardians of the Galaxy vol1

Great film, comfortably in my top 5 MCU.

Not seen it for ages, so I was happy when my lad suggested we watch it this afternoon. Great stuff. 9/10.

I'm gonna try stick on Big trouble in little China for the family night in film this weekend, wife has never seen it and hates old films, wish me luck hehe
