Awesome film but grim as fk.

Maybe watchable of you’re a masochist.

first sentence on wiki;
Wind River is a 2017 neo-Western murder mystery film written and directed by Taylor Sheridan. The film stars Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen as a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service tracker and an FBI agent, respectively, who try to solve a murder on the Wind River Indian Reservation in Wyoming.
Sounds promising

It's similar to all Sheridan's work - a powerful and grim slow-burner with several shocking moments of ultra-violence. I thought it was fantastic (helped by being based on "true events").

The Shallow
had me gripped, great shark film, similar to others of that nature; the Reef, Open Water etc, but thank fk it had an ending I found palatable
I enjoyed it very much when viewed a little while back. Can't quite remember the whole film but kept it in the selection to watch again as it was refreshingly good after the last few shark features.

Like that they managed to fit in a little homage to Jaws without it being too wky or otherwise overly contrived.

Are you referring to the Blake Lively film, The Shallows?

I bought this in 4k BR when it was first released, such a fantastic looking film, and quite enjoyable, much better than most of its type.

That's when I taped it, only just worked around to watch it....it had me gripped from the start, had to stop it a few times.
Made me read up on sharks too.

How is our fault if it turns out you have poor artistic taste? hehe

Just booked my tickets for John Wick 3 and watched number 2 again in preperation
Absolutely love it
Just watched 2 again in prep as well. Also caught up on the extras on blue ray. Keanu is just fricking awesome. He seems such an alright bloke, is immensely dedicated and is very nice to look at too. cloud9

nerdThe director of 2 was Keanu's stunt double in the Matrix and apparently they have been working together ever since. Keanu's gun -fu with 3 weapons is actually a sport in the US. He was trained by the reigning champion.

I am very much looking forward to seeing Chapter 3. They are not highbrow or worthy or Oscar winning but are extremely satisfying films to watch. shoot

Big

Cant believe I've never seen this.

Yes, dated but really enjoyed this as a midweek film.

You can see the talent in Hanks at an early stage, his mannerisms of a child as an adult are spot on.

7.6/10

Makes me want to watch Castaway again.
