Wow, partial story / plot, many many plot holes, continuity is terrible, but it isn't half enjoyable.

Car chase / explosions / blood / explosions / people getting shot, here must have been about 500 people killed.

Alfa QF, E60 M5, Maserati QP, i think a C63 Estate (could be a C350), WRX STi, Lamborghini Urus, 488, FFRR ... some nice cars in there too.
Jesus, just gave up after 20 mins ish

Did anyone notice how sometimes it sounded legit, and at other times it sounded like they'd dubbed over a V8 soundtrack?

Also the seats switching from the regular to the carbon sparcos depending on the scene

Yeah, we 'tried' last night - didn't even get past the first car chase. Kept waiting for it to end and it never did - not helped by the fact they were in two different cities, Florence & Siena at the same time.

in the F&F movies they all seem to have infinite number of gears to go up

and of course, no abs or traction control on any cars they drive.

Got Top Gun on blu ray today from HMV. What with the sequel coming soon and £7.99 it would be rude not to.

bks.

Now I want a bigger TV and a 5:1 system. Damn you Maverick!

At first I nearly turned it off, seemed too cliche with the cut scenes but what a brilliant brains out entertaining film. The body count and ways people died was brilliant, surprised it was rated a 15 definitely an 18!

I'll be rewatching in the cinema room when it is built as I expect in surround it is even better.

Isn't there a VR headset that makes it seem like you are watching a big screen at the cinema, that is what I would like.

Yes, and no. Yes, you can use VR like that, but the resolution is not there yet and it's ultimately unsatisfying.

The Grinch and Elf. The worst Christmas film ever followed by the best.
There’s just something wonderfully innocent about Elf I love. Watched again on Sunday and found myself in tears throughout most of it!

I’ve never seen The Grinch. Trading Places will be on over the weekend. Another Christmas favourite here.

Our guilty Christmas pleasure is the Family Stone with Sarah Jessica "Horseface" Parker and Clair Danes looking hot. Great (terrible) film.

Watched this last night after reading the thread.

Knowing that there's issues with the plot and sitting down to watch it on the projector on 110 inch screen made it thoroughly enjoyable. Great fun! smile

The Godfather

Saw it originally then again last night. What a film.

It shows you how so much sank in all those years ago as I remembered most scenes before they happened.

If you younguns haven’t seen it yet, treat yourselves.

Classic class.
