The Aus one its not a legally binding ceremony, just all the pomp for the camera & their own 'commitment vows'. The UK one as I understand it is a legally binding ceremony from the get go.Sam & Lizzy in the Aus will be a car crash you can see it from the beginning!
I feel like although they have more drama on the Aus series the experts get it more right than the UK one, match people who live in roughly the same area, and give them more support, the UK series is 'so we've matched you with them, off you trot, don't worry we'll pick up the tab, byeeee' by comparison though I think they are coming round to having to having to do more after marriage support seeing as the couples actually got to meet each other this year. You'd think they would have had this in place before now given the bashing reality tv has had for little to no after care over the last few years.

I do like the show but by god they drag it out, happily after tonight we get into the show proper, the dinner parties are always interesting

There is an excessive amount of adverts when I've watched. E4 must be saving all their advertising time for this programme. They could easily trim off a good bit of the 90 minutes.
We often start it at about 8pm for this reason, also they do a pre advert "whats coming up" and a post advert "just before the ads" I don't know if its an Aussie thing and they have loads of adsI couldn't believe how many times they said "29 Year Old VIRGIN Matt" last night

Yeah watching that episode a fair bit on 'catch-up'..... just to make sure no details have been missed.Work has been done,.... but one of the most integrated builds I've seen for a while...
