Just had a quick look last night & they have Nick Nack from the Bond film there!!!!! What a dreadful creature & feel pity for his other half / husband.
Yeah, what an arrogant dick!

Of course, it'll be a defence mechanism as he's lots of bad relationships, trauma, can't trust anyone... blah blah bloody blah biggrin.

I've caught up but i'm not sure I should have bothered, so much fakery & staging from a load of wanabees, i'm not sure there is a genuine one in the entire bunch.

It was on the TV in my hotel room the other day (was having a shave so didn't bother to turn over), a stupid shallow show, for stupid shallow people. I felt myself losing IQ points the longer it was on.

I don't disagree, but in our household we justify watching because we have spent all day using our IQs and need something where our brains don't actually need to get above a low hum...it does the job.

JJ / grimace-face and Ella pretty much deserve each other, feel bad for Bianca (although please sort your hair out).

I'll keep watching while Erica and Adrienne remain on - Erica particularly who doesn't need to tart herself up to the hilt, and has curves in all the right places rather than being some stick thin, balloon-boobed, shiny doll.

Haha glad it wasn't just me that spotted the resemblance. 36 and doesn't cook or clean? Absolutely pathetic, needs to get a grip.

The fundamental issue with filling this show full of vacuous influencer types is that they never want to leave, and cling on for dear life for the exposure. If the show was like it was originally, more of a scientific experiment with genuine people then they’d just leave at the point they realised they didn’t like their match.

Now you’ve got people like Nathanial, who clearly wasn’t happy with his match from day one, wasn’t attracted to her and didn’t even like her, yet he’s clung on for dear life, driven her into the arms of someone else and then gone on some bizarre rant like she was the love of his life all along. Absolutely hideous people.

Nathanial was delighted with Ella at the very start. Their wedding day looked very positive.

Hasn't Ella clung on as well? She knows what position her marriage is at yet keeps voting to stay. She's threatened to leave a number of times, including last night, but keeps coming back for attention. The both of them are as irritating as each other. Their childish tantrums are embarrassing.

Bianca was taking the process very seriously. She's upset what has happened. That is not Nathanial's fault.

The bhing went too far last night. It can be amusing up to a certain point, but last night wasn't good to watch.

I thought the original series was quite an interesting social experiment into whether you could grow to love based on common interests and goals whilst (to an extent) setting aside appearance. The people were mostly committed to trying to get things to work out.

Not watched for a few years, but seems its morphed into another series of reality show wannabees.

There are still some who go in for the right reasons (or end up there anyway) - I think I'm right in saying one of the participants I'd have absolutely put in the box of 'going on for the attention' is still with their partner. There's been a few proper marriages and kids and stuff from prior series too (series with plenty of drama, including the aussie version which pioneered this approach).

Couples retreat was really odd to watch - it's as if the producers just said to the cast "sit in a semi-circle and have and argument". We only put it on as background noise now, it used to be a bit interesting but now it's just a whole bunch of situations designed to cause arguments.

Not that I want to defend Peggy, but the home stay is pretty telling. You can see where the constant worries about what other people think come from given that both her mum and dad have basically written George’s off for ‘not being a grafter’. Her mum can’t help digging the oar in either and twisting the knife in Georges back.

Both her and Laura are victims of friends/family who want them all to themselves and will never let anyone in for fear of ‘losing them’ whilst simultaneously sabotaging any chance their friend/daughter has of happiness. One only hopes that they wake up to it off the back of this show.

The final vows are boring and dragging on. Their speeches are all near identical with the same twists.

I don't know why Artur was so shocked. After spending so long with Laura and getting nothing more than a kiss it should have been obvious. Laura's speech was a bit harsh. I did think her constant comments about Arthur being a liar throughout the series was too much.

I don't think any of the couples will last.

It's dragging on, but I've started so I'll finish, although I'm only half watching now.

Laura seemed to take pleasure in letting him down. What a strong woman [eye roll].

Surprised on the Peggy outcome...

The Ella/JJ situation is/was dull as dishwater - he said no, then she said no but behaved like she 'dumped' him. Then she struggled to deliver her emotional speech with any sincerity... hehe

Looks like it's all designed to kick off tomorrow night. The nutters that have broken up already come back to be offended by their 'exes' and get more screen time by behaving like nutters rofl.

The trailer for tonight looked OTT. Too much fighting to the point it was annoying.
