Switched off half way through Ep 5 and have no interest in going back. Really interesting concept but it just feels so lazily researched and put together. I'm happy to suspend belief for make-believe telly but the amount of time characters go off on expeditions on what is an entirely uncharted planet with zero supplies etc really bothers me among many other things.

My main issue is the Dr. Smith story arc, it's painful to watch and really slows the show down.

The Dr Smith thing is there presumably for the same reasons as in the original, interpersonal drama is cheaper to make than having the characters deal with external threats.

I made to the end. It did slightly improve but I won't be going back for S2. The script for me is the weak point and 'Dr. Smith' really winds me up.

Was supposed to be Jan '21 originally, but with **waves hands around** it's likely to now be mid-'21 instead.

Must admit it seemed padded out and I really do hope that don't peddle out more of the Dr Smith is bad.

Binged first 6 episodes yesterday. Yeah, slow in a couple of bits, but the first episode was setting the scene again after the break I think. Lots of amazing visuals further in.

My Mrs is a big sci-fi fan and it takes all this stuff seriously but when she watches
Lost in Space she has full blown Tourettes, especially when Dr Smith is on screen.

Finally caught up with this and binged thee seasons over a few weeks. Really liked it but some of the kids could get annoying at times.
