IIRC - I think you are right.

Straker had a life saving part/machine on a SHADO transport - but had to divert it for an incoming UFO attack.

Wife not happy.

Smoking cigarettes at the bedside if IIRC also.

If you were lucky enough (or not - it was dire) to have caught "Death is a Woman" on Talking Pictures last night you would have seen even more of Wanda wink
Just googled her, she's Benedict Cumberbatch's Mum!eek

A heads up - Forces TV is showing UFO at the moment. Sky 181 | Freeview 96 | Virgin 274 |

One of the best TV theme tunes out there, but I digress!

Yes - he was actually a dancer and you would often see him in various dance troupes that used to be common on variety TV shows.

Sadly, he died in 2008.
On the set of 'The Saturday Crowd' with songstress Susan Maughan...

Watched Episode 1 last night. The letching factor is massively high - especially in regards to the character Alec Freeman. It actually makes quite uncomfortable viewing in the modern age. It reminded my of a "Carry On..." film with the humour taken out.

It stood out when I watched it again recently Eric.

Another archive shot from May '69...

And a screen shot from 'Psychobombs'.... how the hell did Mike Pratt squeeze into the back of the 914...?
