Getting panned by the critics. Must be all those racist misogynistic white man babies crying over the fact a woman was cast in the main role.........oh wait!

Me and OH went to see this last night, and expectations were low after the mixed reviews. However, we both enjoyed it. Yeah, its a little bit messy and not as slick as the more recent MCU offerings, but nowhere near as bad as critics made out.

No problem with the Venom character, and I think for any comic book geeks, he's pretty much spot on IMO. For me, I really like Tom Hardy, he's such a committed actor, and he just about manages to holds the film together.

For me, 7/10, but I can also see why it wont be everyone's cup of tea.

Also, 16 minutes of credits! Thankfully, the lengthy second mid-credits scene was worth staying for and it had absolutely nothing to do with Venom!
Carnage? He's a pretty big thing in Venom lore.

Nope, that's the first scene. The second one is long, excellent but absolutely nothing to do with the film.

Saw it last night, I thought it was pretty good to be honest, bit of lighthearted fun, the back and forth is good, a little predictable but still worth a watch, will be a good Sunday afternoon film! 7.5/10 from me!

Wow, Venom is now the 14th biggest comic book film (if you don't include Transformers films)
Sony is now back in the game, owns a bit of the character too hmm?...
Looks like the SPider-Verse is here to stay for the time being.
