I might have got a bit stuck on the Christ the redeemer question but probably would have talked my way through it, but I knew what sports all those teams play.

That was difficult. In my mind Rio was north of the Equator.

Makes no sense. Knicks is short for knickerbockers, which is what baseball players wear. Typical American doh.

if you know one of the options isn't correct, like the photographer/David Bailey one, and you phone a friend, would you be allowed too only read out the other 3?

Yes, you can say whatever you want to them, seen a few where they’ve just asked someone if X is the correct answer.

His phone-a-friend wasn't much better - someone with a history degree not knowing who signed the Magna Carta.

Patrick Lichfield did a lot of the Pirelli calendars. I sat next to him at a beach bar in Ibiza, together with some quite attractive girls. Spoilt my lunch because they were very loud and boorish.

For years I thought Don McCullin was American. Only recently read a piece about him in a Sunday paper and found out otherwise.

I've got all of this older guys questions before the options were displayed.

At £64k and another 15 minutes to go.

If it was only one or two questions couldn't they have edited things and squeezed it all in?

Big win coming?.

Don McCullin had a recent exhibition at the Tate - I went to it, was the only reason I knew the answer.
