Watched the build thread on Rennlist....quite some effort! Owner also had his 911 R painted at OPC Reading before collection (in Arrow Blue IIRC) as there were no PTS UK cars.

Quite a stickler !

Loving that, must admit I was watching Le Mans thinking how good it would look on a road car.

Hope to see it around Edinburgh sometime soon?

Very nice, just needs to loose the GT2 RS on the lower doors though.

Congratulations, it's beautifully done. I'm normaly very much from the 'less is more' camp. If i were allocated a Gen 2 RS it would be specced without logos - but If had the oportunity to buy a car in the same livery as yours, I wouldnt hesitate.

Love the Ecosse end plates

I love it, but then I make no secret of the fact that I'm a fan of decals, graphics and race liveries on GT cars. I think it just adds a bit of fun and personalisation to the car, without being irreversible or too extreme a modification.

it's fully painted with PPF over the top :-)

Odd choice to go painted over a wrap and takes big balls, I dare not even think of a price, but said owner had his 911R stripped and painted a custom colour so has a few £££ to play with cars , it's great to see mods on cars these days.

No! Scratch what I said about being easily reversible but crank the kudos levels up to 11.

Superb workmanship. Thank you for pointing it out.

Strangely enough, I'm normally the same...
The 2RS, especially with Weissach stripes, was always going to be 'I'm your face' anyway, so I decided it was the one to go full-on with. Wasn't really a fan of the original panda look, and have secretly wanted a Martini car since The Delta HF Turbo!

Couldn't be happier with the work that they did at Reading - they really took pride in it.
On track at Silverstone tomorrow, so better go fast!

Thanks for all the positive comments. Taffy - won't be at CLM but maybe Silverstone Classic.

Well done, this may well become a known 'special' car as you did it from new. I doubt you would have no interest if you were forced to sell and if you aren't, it's just a bit of indulgence and following a dream, what's not to like !
