its feel good tv and my wife and I - who are dancers - enjoy it on a number of levels but more over we sit there smiling pretty much all the way through.
Similar in this house I think. I don't watch a huge amount of tv, most of my free time is on the internet and gaming. I also listen to a lot of extreme metal including black metal, yet I've watched pretty much all of this since it started, I wouldn't bother with catching up if I missed it though. Think I'll probably enjoy this series quite a lot. Susannah is the only one who actually can't dance at all (and she's grumpy and dull with it) but all of the rest have potential and there's a number who are really surprisingly good.
Faye looks far hotter than I ever remember her being in Steps, and she dances well.
Danny John Jules is a total dude, great timing and sharp moves and his partner Amy is lovely, very glad she will be in it for a while.
Ashley is very good, Joe Sugg is a pretty good and seems a nice chap, Swann is better than expected and very likeable and Vick Hope has amazing legs.
I'd like Katie Piper to do fairly well as she looks well out if her comfort zone compared to most and it obviously means a lot to her. Hard not to feel for her a bit
Hope Oti and Nadiya stay in forever.
Surprised a bit by how good the one armed girl is and how well they're managing her disability with the dances. Actually works OK and is quite a positive thing for young kids with similar disabilities to see. And they're actually openly discussing the issues rather than pretending it doesn't exist like they did last year with Johnny blade leg.
Also Kate Silvertons tango was awesome for me. Very dramatic.
All good stuff. Gonna be a fun series.
