The disabled girl, Lauren, deserves to do well
Why?
Indeed. Her steely determined I’m here to win line almost made me want her to fall at the first hurdle. Plus unless she’s a naturally talented dancer she’ll struggle anyway if she has to go to Australia to compete in the world finals between now and the first live show.

I can’t stand Stacey Dooley, the talentless, whiney ‘docu-reporter’. It’ll be interesting to see how she fares in the show.

It would be better is she kept quiet but she’s scrubbed up very well indeed. Hope she stays in for a while....

I have mixed feelings about The Dooley. I generally hate her voice and the way she always seems to be staring into the middle distance when she has her photo taken. But...she looked quite fine yesterday.

I swore I wouldn't watch this series, because on paper the line up looked rubbish. But put them all together on TV and I thought they worked quite well.

So, that's Saturday nights sorted until Christmas!

Well if the ROI continue as they have of late both him and Martin O’Neil will have plenty of time on their hands.

That's been true for a couple of years now, and it seems to work out ok anyway.

We didn't watch last year so dont know if she was on last year but there is a newish dancer, tall and blonde. Can't remember who she has been paired with. She is hot.

Not much in the way of a comedy act this year. Susannah doesn't come across as someone the public will like so can see her going pretty sharpish.

If there there was faked happiness it was on AJs face and beamed out of his body language when announced.

It will be interesting to see how they tailor the dances to best suit her. I think she will be steely and really take a focused outlook to it.

Nadiya Bychkova, I'm already in love cloud9

Partnered with Lee Ryan so stands some chance of staying in the show for the long run.

i thought it was a pretty decent launch show - the pro dance was epic.

what was the female "vocalist" on about during the craig david song? or am i getting TOFTS?

I think the pairings have gone well - i feel sorry for nadiya 'cos the guy from blue - sorry he comes across as a teenager in a man's suit or like a man size bilbo baggins - just awful...

suzanna can arguably make the most progress and anton will look after her. Swanny too I think with Oti will stand a good chance of progressing.

when you dance in competitions "couples" are invited to take to the floor, however not all pairings are couples in life I would say about 50/50.

Which is why when trophies are presented at competitions there are usually one for each of the pair for that reason.

to cover off when the couple is same sex they are often referred to as Leader and Follower upon registration or membership.
