i will watch mostly any car / bike programmes. but fifth gear. 5 mins and ive had enough, jimmy the tuner is a waste of air time and who over the age of ten wants to know if some mercedes or what ever make barge can drift. utterly pointless.
More talent on that show that any line up on Top Gear.I liked the bit last night when they described the Nissan Leaf as good for old people. Then said ....Tif?
Fifth gear doesn't bang on about supercars. It's about cars.

You mean apart from the supercar pieces...Sadly, they frequently miss the point - at one point they tested every car they had on a track - Anglesey, Brands Hatch, Rockingham and then you had the incredibly detailed analysis and review of the Kia Stinger, by Plato "Sorry Kia, not impressed". Hmm, may take some time to analyse that sort of depth after one fast lap.
Then later on in the series they take the GTR and 911 out on normal roads...
I enjoyed it, and hope there's another series.
For me, it's a straightforward programme, shows some nice/interesting cars, and provides a bit of info about them.
It can't be all things to all men, and as such all will see something different, but it's a good effort and I've no desire to pick holes in it.

I feel the same and I'm glad its back. For me, it's a straightforward programme, shows some nice/interesting cars, and provides a bit of info about them.

Looks like Fifth gear has been reborn yet again, this time going for the EV end of the market, lineup has sadly lost Jonny Smith & Tiff but gained Rory Reid, VBH, Potato and Karun are all back plus Jimmy Deville.

I used to like old fifth gear and this seems to be trying to keep it with that same style except EV ovs.
I don't think citreon were too impressed with them nearly rolling the Ami, to be fair they have a point, it's not the kind of thing you drive like that anyway.
I won't rush to watch the next one I don't think, I did like the lambo though.

However iirc 14yos will be allowed to drive them so I think there’s every chance there’ll be a lot of Amis on their sides. Nothing should be that unstable these days. Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
