the blanks can easily be explained as they were probably handled prior to the break in = risk or chance of finger prints

So unless you've written a 6 part mini series we're not allowed to criticise it? rolleyes
Wasn’t it 15million?

What’s with all the agression on this thread? Seems disruptive.
You've been on Pistonheads before right?

Slightly O/T... whatever you think of it, it will bring UK a LOT of money, as it is being reported worldwide as something to watch... and the UK film/music industry (best in the world - but I'm biased), will get some income, at a time we will need it!

In my mind that sounds very Miles Jupp! biggrin

Interestingly, it's actually owned by ITV, despite being on the BBC.

Ta for that.. point still remains. UK benefits. Big money.

It's what we do best!

I thought it started off weak, tailed off a bit in the middle and failed to get any better at the end - apart from that it was ok.

High praise.

In a weird coincidence, my 3 year old niece was watching Balamory the other day, Miles Jupp pops up in a serious Noel's Telly Addicts jumper and she shouts "It's Uncle Jim!!!"

I was flattered, which everyone thinks is odd, except me. Handsome man is young Jupp.

Edited to perfect my good-but-not-great spelling of niece. Jesus Christ, it's happening.

I think that if there is aggression, it's mainly from those with the mental inability to think beyond "your opinion is different to mine - therefore I hate you".

It's TV - just a bit of entertainment.

If 10M+ watched it, I think most would struggle to justifiably argue that the producers failed.

Did budds gun still have blanks in it at the end?

Also how is he a better bomb diffuser than the guy who's job it is? He just needed to short between two relay blocks and that disarmed the vest?
Any 2 relay contacts mind, it didn't matter which.

The whole bomb thing was a bit barmy, why do you need a radio you're only 30 yards away? Can't you just pull the detonators out they're all out in the open? I'll just take the lid off this box, it won't have a microswitch booby trap or photocell in or anything. The switch is taped to you, you don't need to grip it. The sticky tape will be covered in oil/sweat, it won't stick the switch down after you cut it.

Also it must be nearly 4x better than Top Gear was based on viewing numbers.

(Why hasn’t there been a 2018 Top Gear last one was April 2017!!!)

Also did anyone notice the dates on the tablets and other devices, all Nov 2018, maybe this series was meant to be released later.
Yes, we did .... and it made us think we were going to see a Dallas style dream sequence!

Or full of people who just think it's a load of unrealistic bks, which of course they're entitled to think.

Absolutely, it's always good to use radios in such close proximity to an IED too whilst not forgetting to allow someone to walk through the streets wearing it. Credit to having firearms officers standing opposite each other waiting to take the 'critical shot' and cap their mate in the process hehe

The blanks for the pistol they didn't know was there, or the calibre? No supposedly pro crook would touch an illegal gun without wiping anything they've touched.

Burglars have even been known to use socks when gloves aren't available.

While we're talking about professional criminals, I highly doubt they'd have anything to do with Islamic terrorists, other than grassing, killing or torturing them.

Apologies for going off topic, but does anyone know why Miles Jupp isn't presenting the News Quiz at the moment?

Is it possible to contain the explosion from a typical bomb vest within an ISO container, perhaps a 20 footer? I suppose that an open skip would be better, to direct the gases upwards.

Despite the lead actor being pretty wooden I still enjoyed it. Last episode was a bit 'convenient' and it has left lots of questions.

Despite enjoying it I don't think it's a patch on Mercurios other show 'Line of Duty' which if anyone has seen they will know it was exactly the same, conspiracies run deep and it all comes together in later series. I imagine this will be the same here.

If you have not seen Line Of Duty then go check it out, similar to this but even better to watch.
I will be back for the next season, yes I will suspend belief but that's what this show is all about, just good Sunday night gripping who dunnit entertainment.
