What is it with people and 'cutesy' baby names. I always think to myself "what happens when they are grown up and are going for job interviews" (although that's probably never going to be an issue for these kids).

By all means nickname them "Boo" or whatever whilst they are a cutesy baby - but at least given them a proper adult name that they can use on CVs etc.
Cursing your child with a stupid name, for reasons of self-indulgence and attention-seeking is a 100%, never-fails, copper-bottomed indicator of a .

Never. Ever. Fails.

Should you meet someone with a stupid name, please cut them some slack. Not because they have a stupid name, but because their dad is certainly a .
I love the fact that posters on here are using any angle they can to attack C.E.

Such bitterness is very telling.

His wife is involved in this too remember.

Those names are not to my taste either, but some of these comments...

Good example. There are many, many more. And there seems to be a three-sided correlation between being famous (or wanting to be famous), being a , and calling your children stupid names. I'm not sure of the chain of causality, but there's definitely a correlation.

Blessed is he who having made it in showbiz called his son John.

Oh fk - that one again.

If Evans didn't have his head up his arse you could put at least one zero on the end of that. He's managed to lose more than he's kept so bully to him, but he's managed to take a few down with him who couldn't afford to lose it and he knew it at the time.

Still, there are those who will stroke his ego and see him for the individual success that he is.

I've just figured out who you are, Adrian Chiles.

You must still be bitter about that 'The One Show' business.

I know where you are coming from, but Chiles is his own form of idiot.

Suffice to say Evans will make money, but no-one ever makes money investing in Evans.

It's been asked many times before, but what is your fking problem with Evans? Every time he's mentioned you come steaming in spitting invective, like a spoilt child who can't have his own way.

You come across as spiteful, small-minded and childish. Why not put a filter on so you can happily ignore any thread where your nemesis is mentioned?

And you follow me into every thread asserting the above to people who haven't come to the same conclusion?

Wind your neck in Ade. As someone said in the Radio 2 drivetime thread, try commenting on the topic rather than the commentators.

To quote Walt Disney "Whatever you do, do it well"

Evans could clearly learn a lot from this guy.

Couldn't really give a st how much he is worth, that doesn't make him a good DJ, TV presenter or producer.

I think it's definitely a case of wanting to be seen to be different, attention seeking and narcissism.

The propensity for celebs to call their kids weird and wonderful names does seem to be much higher than in the general population - there must be some causal link there.

Does that apply if you already have an odd surname, like 'Zappa' for instance - Moon, Dweezil, Ahmet and Diva...
