Well, on the back of this Chris Evans thread I shall be donating the following fallout normally allocated for the swear jar by saying , You are a fking clown with a bd black heart and miserable wker too boot, to think that he is as much of a as yourself.
To round it up to a fiver I think I need to add you’re behaviour makes you come across as a proper wkpuffin.

Whatever you might say about CE
Who's CE?DELETED: Comment made by a member who's account has been deleted.
That's been the case for years though, the BBC have made the careers of countless artists. In the specific case of Tom Odell, he's plugging a track that has been released for CIN so all round beneficial IMO. I'm sure the skeptics on here can find a way of turning it around to be for CE's benefit of course!PS It's a bloody excellent cover of Piano Man
It would be interesting to know the share ownership of http://www.brandevents.co.uk
I am pretty sure that it used to be owned by his friend Big Chris, but he sold out to mystery shareholders in 2016. Little Chris spent most of this morning raving on about his friend James Martin - if not him, then it’s usually Tom Kerridge. Kirsty Alsop also seems to be a regular guest on his show. Both have shows run by Brandevents.
Carfest pay Brandevents overheads of £260k, http://www.carfest.org/carfest-budgets. I suspect that Brandevents took a big hit on Fast and Furious Live - https://www.fastandfuriouslive.com/partners it never made it in the same way that Top Gear Live used to for Clarkson & Co.

Could well be as I've never
heard of Tom Odell.I will also add that his cover of Piano Man is absolutely stunningly outstanding. So much so, in fact, that I have spent the day with the tune in my head and asked my wife if we have the sheet music for it at home. Ive been a Billy Joel fan for a longtime, but I have little musical ability, however, we have recently acquired a baby grand at home (my wife is an excellent musician) and I will therefore, be attempting to learn to play the tune to the best of my limited ability.
Odell is worthy of Joel. I heartily recommend searching on Youtube.
Chris Evans is more soppy and annoying than ever this last few weeks. fking bell end crying every five minutes and 'mascara warnings' just ps off and close the door behind you.
Tom Odell cover is average at best, quite why CE needs to be up Tom's arse so much I don't know.
It's got so bad, (and I hate to admit this) that he even annoys me more than SW at the moment.

Also if you dislike why don’t you change channel? Seems bizarre to subject yourself to something you clearly dislike.
I don’t like Tea - guess what I don’t drink it and turn down any offers of tea.
I don’t like Korma so I don’t order it, I’d eat it but know I would enjoy it.
Why do you subject yourself? We’re uou one who didn’t like some of Top Gear yet kept watching it all the time and then went onto a chatting forum to share your dislike and that you’d be carrying on watching it none the less?

Office radio, Radio 2 gets the majority vote, it's like being tortured daily. I try to put my headphones in and listen to music but it's not always possible. If I had the choice and only listened on occasion I probably wouldn't mind him at all. Also if you dislike why don’t you change channel? Ask your office manager if having R2 on is in compliance with PRS rules. You may well require a licence - if your workplace is in contravention, you could threaten to grass them up if they don't either turn it off or change station: https://www.prsformusic.com/what-we-do/licensing-m...Biker 1 said:

I might consider that if I was due to leave in the near future, but I don't want to be 'that guy' at the moment Would rather rant on here and take the Welshbeef backlash like a real man

the lead musicians in the country? Well if you haven't...he is.I will also add that his cover of Piano Man is absolutely stunningly outstanding. I remember Evans used to think Jake Bugg was the new messiah, whatever happened to him?
I do remember Danny Baker saying once that Evans wasn't into music, didn't even own a CD collection was the phrase I think he used.

Yeah, I get the impression that Chris Evan's musical tastes extend to... The Beatles.Danny Baker is great, though! His knowledge of music is utterly staggering. I think he may actually know everything, ever, about every band, group, album, single and song.

Agree, when he's crying like a little girl, I actually think the bloke is in need of some form of help, it's not normal behaviour for sure.Tom Odell cover is average at best, quite why CE needs to be up Tom's arse so much I don't know.

It has probably just dawned on him the enormity of the task he is about to take-on.
Walking away from 8million + passive listeners and thinking that he can somehow take them with him to an insignificant station with 1/2million current listeners is a bit daunting.
His Friday morning show has celebs turn up to plug stuff because he has 8-million listeners. Why the heck will they want to switch, when the clout of the BBC can always outweigh them. Viz “do Graham Norton on Thursday night and we will throw in Zoe Ball on Friday morning for free”.
I am not unhappy that he is leaving, this self-gratification of recent weeks is really getting on our nerves. I think 5-years from now, he will be as obscure as he was 5-years after walking out on Radio 1.
I do hope that the BBC do not then decide to pay him a fortune to return for a third time.
