Mayo and the old team would be good, however knowing the BBC it will be Woman/Tranny /Disabled or a Minority. If they can hit all of the mentioned then they have a jackpot.
and nobody will listen.Evans is great. Nice bloke too.
I agree with others though - the diversity inclusion agenda will ensure a woman and ensure the same pay as Evans.
So that' gets them out of that hole.

I'd personally like to see (hear?) Iggy Pop take over the breakfast show but he's got to follow the exact same formula as Chris Evans, there would be something extremely enjoyable about hearing the lethargic, gravelly Iggy asking kids how their days have been or singing the whole Monday-Friday jingle thing.

I hope Evans finds a way to continue his awesome charity work with the cars etc.
It would have to be him - as nobody else would have the passion the way he does.
Good point. His work with Children in Need every year brings in an awful lot of money. It would have to be him - as nobody else would have the passion the way he does.
having 9million people to open the bids to, really is excellent use of the medium.

He tends to flit from one big-idea to another.
For the life of me, I cannot think why returning to Virgin radio has genuine appeal - apart from the cash that he does not desperately need. £4 / listener seems a tad high, but it will help feed his ego.
Just as long as he does not beg C4 to revive TFI Friday again. That was truly awful - Ely could do a less infantile show.

I think that after he got his fingers burnt with Fast and Furious, I don’t think that he is really into cars now. Just another trader.

was he behind the Fast and Furious show? I had no idea. He tends to flit from one big-idea to another.

No need to switch off, plenty of other radio stations are available.

An analysis of the numbers behind the move.
Interesting reading thanks for sharing. I like him and may well move with him. I've said it on here before that there isn't currently a BBC radio station which properly caters for those of us with brains in the 25-45 age bracket. Evans is no fool and might have figured this out.Incidentally - what is the probability of him as a car nut not having a PH account?

Specifically now as I believe he has twins on the way as well as previous children, business and charity events.
