Bet you still would though Vauxhall appear to have dropped their part ex adverts (you know, the ones where they couldn't decide whether they wanted to offer £3k or £4k trade in depending on which advert you watched) with one with a guy pretending to be an MP offering a supposed "government incentive" with the discount being the equivalent of VAT / 20% if you buy a Vauxhall.
Did someone in marketing sit there and think, "everyone really likes politicians in this country and what they're doing (or not) at the moment, so let's create a crappy advert based around a fake one".

After due consideration, I still wasn't sure what they were offering nor did I much give a sh**Did someone in marketing sit there and think, "everyone really likes politicians in this country and what they're doing (or not) at the moment, so let's create a crappy advert based around a fake one".
Nationwide are now a terrorist organisation as far as I am concerned.
They have some ‘stand ups’ doing bits about how useless they are with money.
And with enthusiastic canned laughter where a polite smile might have been a more likely audience response.
How people will deal these on repeat is beyond me.

Nationwide have by far the worst adverts on TV. They are consistently sh*te. They should either fire their advertising agency, or the senior management who OK the ads, or preferably both. I would never use Nationwide purely on the quality (or lack of) of their TV ads. They have some ‘stand ups’ doing bits about how useless they are with money.

However I have recently switched banks to them - I do hope they realise it was for the £200 and not the s on their ads !!!

Meerkats. Now stupid baby ones as well! Just make it stop, please. I will never, ever go anywhere near that website as a result of their ridiculous, infantile advertising.
The young ones aren't new, are they? Didn't they abandon them in the wild a few years ago, or am I imagining that?Sixt.
What is actually going on in these adverts?
Couple parked up in hirecar clearly looking for a bit of dogging and some chap in the bushes comes out performing a variety of skits for some unknown purpose only to be told how much their rental was and then they drive off!
And if you’re in a position to tell some weirdo how much you paid, you never say from £49, you say it costs £49 a day.
Weird as fk. although she is quite fit

Oh, & I saw some ad for verruca treatment - yet another 'typical' British family featuring a white dad & black mother. FFS!
