I really didn't think Nationwide could top the doggerel of their "poetry" ads, which managed to be tedious and toe curlingly awful. Yet here they are with their utterly dreadful "stand up" ones. Well done Nationwide.

It is a shame - I've been a Nationwide customer for over thirty-five years.

They have been most blameless, boringly efficient and uncontroversial in their dealings with me and my investments, mortgages etc. If only all my other service providers were so good. Years of goodwill have been built up.

Then some pony-tailed tt turns up and persuades them to become 'edgy'. He can FRO.
