They seem to be going after the blind market now.
Earlier this year/ last year it was the old home alone folk.
It's each to their own but to me it just seems a bit cheapshot

Oh and Xmas adverts. Kevin the carrot (with the help of Robbie Williams may be a bit of a delight now but in a couple of weeks it's going to grate.

The NHS antibiotics one, not really the ad itself but the fact they have to do it, can almost hear the legions of thick and entitled idiots demanding antibiotics for something they arent appropriate for and the ad is aimed at the lowest common denominator.

Renault have joined the "murdering songs" brigade. Watch out or the Oasis brothers will be round to re-arrange your front windscreen!

If you thought that one's bad, there are also a number of others featuring a couple of comedians & Victoria Pendelton which are worse.

M&S are using Emma Willis and Paddy McGuinness for their Christmas ads.
Does this mean they are going downmarket?

The awful M&S effort matches Kevin the Carrot ad for crassness. Ad agencies are actually paid for this crap eek
True! The jumper and the food one are just absolutely awful. Why are they using god awful paddy and Emma Willis, can’t stand either of them. Are they trying to appeal to trash with cash who actually like either of those morons.
It’s a shame as the old M&S adventure in food adverts where some of the best food adverts I’ve ever seen.

I suspect it's more of a case that a scrip for ABs is a sort of fk-off solution.

Agree. What morons in the Ad Dept. decide that having some crass "celebs" will sell more food. Maybe the tactic is you buy M&S food then vomit at the advert so need to go and buy more!

Noticed that some of the new Renault Clio advert is filmed in Southampton.
Nevermind the story line or the naff cover song, the most laughable thing is that they have photoshopped some fake French logos onto an Isle of Wight Red Funnel ferry. Presumably to make out that it's just arrived from France. Poor effort.

No problem with other sexualities, you are what you are, but advertisers are really laying heavily into making sure every minority is covered in pretty much every advert and it always seems a bit crowbarred in "Arent we all inclusive and diverse".

I expect that it will probably revert to a less contrived version of diversity at some point.
