I like Maxine Peake as an actor but for some reason her voiceovers in adverts annoy me.

All I get is some uncomfortable looking tabby sitting on a mantle piece amid a wrecked sitting room. I think it’s trying to tell me that insurance is quite a good idea.

This is off topic, as it doesn't make me want to go so far as smashing my Tv set up, but it still annoys me: Sainsbury's, for lazily rehashing the John Lewis advert from earlier this year.

Latest Dior advert with Charlize Theron that seems to have a voice over repeatedly saying "Flesh....light" that's an altogether different type of product.

Quick Quid advert with the teenager outside in his dinosaur dressing gown, mothers says you will have to smell today, but most annoying thing about the advert is when she clicks her fingers and everyone freezes..... in this little cul-de-sac there are 13 people doing 13 different things that's not including the pretend baby and the dog that actually looks like one of those invisible dog leads.
I think they over egged the pudding trying to make it look like a believable scenario.scratchchin

Yep. Boils my piss.

The advert is all about "smashing it", whereas real gains come from sensible, disciplined training, to power.

Or the current Christmas ad. Simply terrible.
