Highways agency with theiir desperate attempt to make out that smart motorways are safe... “Go left”, yeah right, that might have worked if you hadn’t cheaped out and put the refuges too far apart.
Saw that last night and thought WTF.

Wonder how many tens of thousands of pounds of our money they spunked on that drivel.
First time I noticed it last night, too. What direction do they think people have been heading for all these years? Even when we had a hard shoulder, it was always on the left.

It's a really poor advert, poor choice of words, just the general jist of it is unclear. I was left wondering wtf it was about until the very end and even then it took a while to realise it was about simply stopping on the hard shoulder, refuge or layby in an emergency. Definitely a miss, they couldn't have made a worse job of conveying such a simple message.

Is that what it was about? I didn't even pick up on that it was so crap.

I just saw the one with DAS in a blue dress. "Peel back and play" Seriously I thought I had switched to a porn channel

I reckon the ‘actor’ is in the equally dire Haribo advert with two idiot police officers. He must be desperate for work...

Trinny makeup crap.

I hate all this "I created" crap when a manufacturer has created it and stuck her stupid face on it.

The Calgon ad is annoying me at the moment, just because of the terrible lip-syncing in the first bit.

Bugging me now, the guy on the left what series did he use to be in, I am sure it was on the BBC.

Half soaked sounding woman without a care in the world on an insurance advert: 'Oh hi....erm....I've just crashed into a pet shop.....'

Oopsie, never mind, these things happen, just be a bit more careful next time you little tinker. Gloss over the dead animals killed in violent horrific circumstances, business closed whilst rebuilding takes place causing £££ loss to the proprietor.

Moronic.

Perhaps they could have got The village people involved for a more sensible amount, seeing as its their song. not the PSB's.

Indeed, it's a strange accident to be diminutive about and the Police would certainly be looking at it too. I wonder if she'd be quite so chirpy with a mum and pushchair under the car?

Perf with Surf - I get it's meant to be ironic but supremely irritating nonetheless.

But above all the recent trend for 'poetry' adverts - Nationwide started it with their nauseating 'on trend' ads with a 'social' message, then MCain oven chips and now many others are at it.

I also find the Halifax ad annoying with the smug git in the cheap Topman suit and winkle pickers being all 'nice', and all knowing, with everyone.

...and any advert which finishes with the words 'here for you' or similar, as if the company is some form of charitable foundation with no profit motive. So disingenuous but it must work I guess (on the stupid).
