Adverts that make you wanna smash your TV set up. (Vol 2)
Discussion
All of them. I think I have reached peak rage against all adverts...and YouTube no I'm not going premium! Sod off the relentless subscription baiting. No I don't want Sky or Disney with your multifaction model (nicked from Sky see Sky Sports...F1 etc etc) so end up on 14 different streams that will no doubt cost extra or be part of a bundle with just crap left on the main one in the future, and as for BritBox flogging me stuff that we've already paid for via TV licence fee aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh bugggger offffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff!
Grrr

What on earth does she think she's doing in those ads? They're just cringey me me me poses.cuprabob said:
Woman with the lovely Scandavian accent that does the Volvo ads has now turned up doing some other advert. It confuses my simple mind a bit like when two different adverts use the same tune.
Does my nut in when they use a put-on accent from the country of the product's origin (usually cars for some reason). The Citroen ones are especially bad for this, probably supposed to sound sexy I suppose.

The latest rash of Vinted ads are driving me nuts, all acted by young girls but sound to have been voiced over by women’s voices that are completely incompatible with the mouth they’re coming out of, almost as bad as the Calgon ones which are just foreign but voiced British.
I'm sure that at least one of the women that feature as a talking head in the Vinted ads is also on another advert at the moment.Edit - i was right - it's the same woman that plays the daughter in the Sky Q advert where she & her mother end up CGI'd into various shows on Sky, Amazon, Netflix, etc.
On a different note, i see that Audi have joined Lexus in their latest adverts by saying that all their cars are "fine crafted" - er, no, i don't think anyone has ever referenced or thought that a mass produced hybrid Audi, or Lexus, is a "crafted" vehicle.

Why do they all wear old granny cardigans? Is that a super fashionable look now?
Renault using some daft bint trying to sound like she is French when she is clearly some weird actor using an accent, they doing the terms in English, sounds so stupid and fake.
OH and the Vodafone bint, have you ever heard a more annoying voice in all your days, what a cretinous piece of voiceover work, it truly made me email their marketing dept.

What the fk has become of Peloton??? Are their shares going through the floor & therefore they can't afford some new ads?
And why has that woman on the TV in one of their ads got four arms? But more importantly, I'm not impressed with the bit where she swings the dumbbell. Is that a legitimate exercise?

We had creepy CGI Einstein yet and the annoying french meerkat with "exponsive" taste?
the computing power to render the CGI Einstein and its associated energy usage negates all the very small changes that smart meters would make to the Uks grid consumpion.indeed smart meters have found to make hardly any difference to users consumption and its actually a big con
