I've been catching up on old series of Taskmaster on the Channel 4 catchup app. It's really funny stuff, but it's ruined by having the new advert from Innocent smoothies in every break. It's the most frustratingly tedious over virtuous tosh I've ever had the misfortune to experience. Telling us how to save the planet, courtesy of the Coca Cola Corporation.

Makes me want to stick pencils in my ears, and I'll never buy another of their smoothies again. Not even in a meal deal!

Thankfully i haven't seen that advert but i don't like innocent anyway due to the fact that they sell themselves as healthy but have more sugar in than full fat coke, and are so expensive for what they are

The Haribo ad also irritates me, annoying kids voices. If they actually marketed them to adult as well as children they might sell a lot more.

you forgot all the lotto / national lottery and postcode lottery adverts

and that new one, where your betting on the lottery outcome, and not actually in the lottery (ie. USA lottery numbers outcome)

they must get tons of cash in order to advertise so much - thats sad in itself.

Yes but it’s ok because you can then get a loan to pay off your debts ( at 1000% APR).

After watching Sky’s F1 coverage today: another vote for the yodelling. But a special place in hell is reserved for the “how did you know that?” child.

I've just seen one with a geezer with the looks and mannerisms of a grandfather clock saying how Sky's gambling platform has deposit limits.

Using weaselly euphemisms like "sports fans" to mean gambling addicts.

So much fking gambling these days.

An ad on YouTube for Not On The High Street, to do with dad's so hopefully it stops after Father's Day. It starts off with a screaming kid looking out of a window and Jesus Christ kid will you just shut the fk up and stop doing that!

not sure if it has been mentioned but this one,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4aoiIeqt1Ig

i absolutely abhor it with venomous loathing, if that even makes sense.
Will never use the company ever because of it.

The Bet Fred advert with the old bloke who's presumably Fred? The whole advert is about limits and restrictions to keep the addict punter safe. It's as contemptible as they think it's responsible.

The gambling ads really boil my piss. The one you refer to with Fred Done is just a pack of lies. Gambling companies genuinely couldn't give a fig about the damage they do.

I think gambling advertising should be hit with the same sort of tactics that tobacco companies have been subjected to.

Agreed. There's some fuss about Norwich City's new sponsors - but woke whittling about scantily clad girls, rather than them being sponsored by a gambling firm. I rather think the latter will cause more damage than the former.

The gambling radio as with "Sweet Caroline" as the tune.
Not only because its on every 5 minutes, but it also upsets the wife as it was her late mother's favourite song

The current duo of Ford adverts.

“The first horse is white, the second horse is red” .... fark me it’s annoying. Can’t get to the mute button quick enough.

The James Brown sample on the new one. I hope The Godfather Of Soul is turning in his grave. Piss poor.

Hush now. Vangelis and Demis Roussos performing a psychedelic/pseudo-prog concept song about the Revelation of St. John? What's not to like? I'm baffled as to why Ford chose it though.
