The Dominos yodelling is cretinous for sure, but the worst bit for me is the now obligatory for seemingly all adverts "We've got this".
+ 1

The yodelling is moronic on a whole new level. I just can’t imagine a meeting where someone would come up with that idea and other (grown up) Human beings, would say “ yeh, that’s great!”
Maybe why I don’t work in advertising.
I think the ad is quite clever and does not upset. However I have a big problem with the product. I do not understand what you are supposed to do.

I noticed during the football this evening that Domino's have started using a shortened version of the original, full length, ad cutting out most of the bit with the mechanic. Unfortunately the side effect of that, is they've now started showing 5 to 10 second "stings" with just the yodelling in nearly every ad break which is even more annoying than the original ad banghead

That folding mobile phone ad. No I don't fking want it.
Problem is, there are a sh*t-load of vapid, self-image obsessed numptys out there who are falling over themselves to spend thousands on a phone that, in the end, does no more than the phone they currently have, other than fold in half.

How long will the excitement and interest from that feature last??
Problem with phones is the lack of innovation. We were spoiled with massive advances, but the last few years has just been the same thing slightly improved, better camera, better screen but we are all carrying exactly the same flat slab with a screen format as we had 10 years ago.
Even apple are struggling with innovation, having to introduce a line of lesser budget phones as the justification for their flagship models is marginal.
The phone has found its form, in the same way that the camera did,or TVs or hifi did, go to a shop and all products look much the same
So having spent a few billion making this thing they got to flog it now and need to reach out to their discerning customers biggrin
Fully agree. If you look at the TV ads for the last 3-4 generations of iphone, they have all been about the camera and/or adding cartoon images to peoples faces. Absolutely nothing is mentioned regarding the capabilities of the phone.................as a communication device.

Not TV, but a radio ad (I heard it on Greatest Hits Radio, but I'm sure its available to annoy on other stations)

The 'myFiat' advert, the one that talks about the woman who has her finger on the pulse, always in the know, on top of her life...............................but has forgotten where she parked her Fiat 500.

But fear not, coz she can ask her phone to tell her where it is, because her car has 'Hey Google' fitted.

Now, the advert features a woman, but this goes equally for a man.

If you are someone who regularly forgets where you park, then don't you think you should be questioning your capability to safely drive a car???

Of all the 'Hey Google' features that Fiat could have picked for an advert, this one seems the most stupid.

The world is still not quite ready for the feature that drives the car to you when you need it. The tech has been there for some time.

Appears a lot on Amazon TV
AEG advert where AEG is said as ( nearest phonetic equivalent ) I EGG . Not A.E.G , which means Allgemeine Elektricitäts-Gesellschaft or German for 'General electricity company

That one's been annoying me for a while.

Who are they targeting with a TV show theme tune from the late '70's, and the awkward segue into the companies jingle's just ste.

I suppose you have to hear it , difficult to put into words , it is said as a single word though .
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7-mJdWVzHQ

But how many people would know the company by anything other than A.E.G.

Not sure if it makes me want to smash the tv, but there is an advert for itv drama or something. It shows a glamorous woman dancing and has a man locked up in a cupboard.

Can’t help but feel it’s making light of domestic violence, it’s not even a plot line it’s just an advert. Just Feels a bit distasteful.

Ah yes, that's Julie...got so stfaced the night before, she forgot where she parked her 500 that Daddy bought her! Silly moo.
But it's that one, or the advert for visiting London, 'do I' that is making me angry.

That was shown before 7PM one night which I thought was rather odd.

Had to scroll back to see if this had a mention , there's now a second ad in a garage .

The first actually makes me laugh , preferable to crying , but still awful when that large lady makes a face

and goes OOOOooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOO .

Raheem Sterling - Gillette.

Every bloody ad break - he is having a close shave. And cuddling a kiddie afterwords.

Then he turns up on the pitch with a beard.

It is the equivalent of Gary Lineker going on set munching a crate of Golden Wonder crisps.

Utterly utterly clueless individual.

The woman is Katherine Kelly , who recently starred in an ITV drama where she was cleared of murdering a child and set free from
prison sentence

I'm not 100% but the bloke tied up in the cupboard might be a reality star as the ad tagline is "drama v reality" or similar .

Correct.

I thought it was very clever.

A few variants of this.
