I'm finding the Zoopla ad annoying.

"We love our house , the area , everything , but look how much it's worth , let's move somewhere that we might not like after 2 weeks ."

Some sort of yoghurts (I think)…

An old TV set gets chucked out the window, then a woman with the most heinously annoying voice says they’re free-kin tasty

Goes right through me.

Radio ads for Shkooda.

Seems like Skoda are trying to teach the British how to pronounce the name properly.

If Porshah couldn’t do it I doubt this one will stick either.
On holiday in the US (remember that?) I saw an advert for Hyundai, which the announcer pronounced to rhyme with Monday. I know the Americans often mess up pronunciation (Jagwah), but which one is right?

I recon they have got it right. They are probably nearer to the home of the Jaguar to know how to pronounce that right too, despite how weird it sounds to us,

The meaningless "Bingo like a Boss" adverts. I imagine the planning meeting went something like this.

"Bingo like a bd?"
"Like it, but no. ASA will never pass it"
"Butcher? Baker?"
"No"
"Boss?"
"Hm. Anyone else? No? We'll go with Boss then."

When i first heard this one, i thought the woman was just doing a very bad Sean Connery impression.

Took a few listens to realise that she was being Czech.

Greed was good back in the 80's, and seeing as everything else from the 80's has recently made a return................................

it all just reminds me of Nutriboom from B99, Boomboom biggrin
All diet ads are creepy but she does seem to have odd eyes.

Still, better than Corden who is terribel to look at and to listen to.

I have to agree with you there, Corden is more annoying

I don’t watch much scheduled TV these days, but I’m watching the F1 highlights on All4.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned - but the Dominos advert with the yodelling can get to fk. Clearly designed to get inside your head and fits the brief well.

I cannot stand advertising, I hate it and it’s practically inescapable.

It’s pretty stupid too. Unless you are prepared to downsize considerably ( which only pensioners want to do), you’re going to need to stay in the same area for your job, so any gain your house price made is swallowed up by the new ones increase.
Unless your job relocates from South East England to Hull or Blackburn, you’re not going to make much profit.

It's bugged me for years that the Americans manage to turn Hyundai into "Hoon-day" but even more so that they turn Nissan into "Neee-sarhn".

I'm prepared to give them their pronunciation of "lieutenant", though. I've no idea how we managed to screw that one up so badly.

Because there needs to be differentiation between junior officers and lavatory attendants? I think our 'wrong' way is better. hehe

The Audi advert
The bloke at the end asks
"And you? What's yours going to be"

Well it won't be the ones in the advert will it? It clearly states that neither model shown is UK specification

Lenor advert. It’s raining and no one can hang their washing out. No one heard of a tumble dryer?
And as for the woman “singing” “ this room smells like an armpit”, absolutely awful.

The current Halifax ad.
Could be a satire on all modern TV ad cliches.
But its for real.

I got the distinct impression it was designed to tie in with (Todays) June 21st plans to lift restrictions. A sort of celebratory montage of what we could all do again
It comes across to me as a load of cobblers but maybe people really do think "I know I'll go into the Halifax and open an account " after seeing it

The Volvo crash test one. What shall we crash test next, as he looks at the front of a glacier breaking off into the sea. Apparently because we're crash testing the planet all Volvos will soon be electric. Yes, very good, nothing to with European legislation then, you decided that all by yourselves did you? Oh, and the dropping a car from 100ft - what exactly is that you think you're testing with that one? Oh right, it's a joke, I see. fk off and take your smugness somewhere else.

The stupid accent of the "Samsung hot offahhh" ad.

And the Boots opticians and Tyrrell crisps ads where we are meant to be convinced by Sloane Ranger types...ad men obviously thinking the plebs should know their place and listen to their betters!
