‘you gave me a virus’...really topical.

The Motability ad where the spongers sing about their freedom.

After 40 years in the car industry, never have I seen a more abused and misused scheme used by some nasty, over entitled tw@s.
The acronym ODSOE = Over Developed Sense Of Entitlement.

Don't get me wrong, there are some valid users but IME the majority wear the disability like a badge and use it to get their own way while treating their cars like mobile dustbins.

Do you want some salt with that chip? fking hell.
Yes, that was remarkable.
If you'd ever worked in the trade you'd have a very different much more enlightened view. OP is very much correct.

I'm guessing you were in sales and not the Aftersales Manager.

I was the After-Sales Manager for a VW dealership in London.

I think she does have eyebrows, they're just dyed blond/light brown for no explicable reason which make them near invisible. Remarkable how such a small thing disturbs how you perceive a face.

Am i right in thinking the point is Virgin broadband is really good at helping you take some decent-sounding music and royally fking it up?

In which case I disagree with you - it's spot on.

& what was wrong with their previous developing series of ads featuring the two gamers (black girl & white dude in a wheelchair)?
The lad who played the bloke in the advert is now moving onto a major new work

Presumably it looks better for the brand and advert director's CV to showcase a young black woman and youth culture rather than showing a middle-aged white bloke using his broadband to download 'internet research'.
Yes, but she ruins a perfectly good jungle DnB track with her rubbish!
You could download that crap via dialup. It doesn't need a superfast connection.

Is it me, or is the mixed-race thing getting to be the norm for ads these days ? Got to be politically correct I suppose now.

Like holidays, they're all-inclusive, regardless of genetics or biology.

In the ideal ad, I would be;

Fat
Bald.
Erection problems
Partner / Kids all mixed race
Lazy... lives on rubbish or delivered food
Waiting to die ( need a funeral plan)
Have annoying neighbours
Rubbish car
Need to move
Sponsors kids, animals & charities all around the World
Bad betting habit
No money...Needs a loan.

The missus on the other hand... has dry, squiffy hair and an embarrassing itch.

.... We haven’t been burgled yet though.
