The Pot Noodle slurping one now has a warning on it, which is a bit strange as I read on here the other day that the advert now has no slurping which is weird. Maybe they've got two versions?

They've changed the slurping sound to a cat meowing sound. Quite a clever response to the complaints about the slurping.

I'm surprised that we haven't had the holiday ad with the truly awful 'hold my hand ' song. Seems to be every third ad on YouTube, and is actually putting me off YT in the first place.
Maybe some algorithm had selected it as of interest to me but I don't understand why; I never look up holiday stuff online, and I don't get other holiday ads.
Every 3rd ad?

You don't know how lucky you are!!!

Just the usual practice of normalising obesity and yes doubt she spends much time, if any, ice skating.
To be fair to her, she does appear to have some skills with regards to ice-skating. If that was me on the ice, I'd be on my ar*e for most of the advert.

But your point regarding the normalisation of obesity is right on the mark.

If being obese was purely about asthetics, then I would have no issue with its portrayal in advertising. I would have no issue with it in general life.

But it not just about asthetics, the detrimental health effects of carrying excess weight have been proven beyond rational doubt, and to normalise and even glorify such a condition, is just plain irresponsible.

But ice skating is a very intensive workout and to get to the level she appears to be in the ad, she would not be that fat.

I find their agents to be a pain in the arse to be blunt.
3 times now these agents have popped round uninvited to see if the office is ok. The last time I found the agent too familiar when he announced he could get us a better card machine provider. It was not and is not any of his business and our office manager basically told him to do one

I looked her up, quite a sad story actually... Child ice skating starlet, couldn't cope with the fame, turned to drugs and alcohol etc.... Eventually swapped the drugs and alcohol for cheeseburgers.
Not a great role model.

We have but as Jet2 have been using it for the last couple years, it was a while back it got mentioned, several times. I've got it on good authority they even play it on the plane. I'm sure it keeps Jess Glynn's bank account topped up.
Nine years! Longer than most jail sentences.

I'll bet even Jess Glynne's sick of hearing it.
I just got a bit of junk mail in the post yesterday - a brochure for Jet2! fkers! Next thing you know I['ll have Jess Glynne caterwauling away outside the house. If she does she's getting the hose (a drenching that is; not a Silence of the Lambs thing).

Other than the Jess Glynne song, the thing about the ad that gets to me is the daughter of the family constantly turning around, looking at the camera with the OMG face, these are some of them. Calm down will ya, it's a 30 second advert and the last 5 seconds is the logo.

I already thought the fact that she wan't likely to be able to skate for much longer whilst that size was sad; that makes it even sadder.

The facial expression of most of the younger visitors to Epstein Island I would imagine?
