It would be nice to keep comments to the episodes as broadcast on terrestrial TV . I rarely jump ahead , so even hints on future episodes amount to spoilers
Having said that , Ep1 , we thought was totally bizarre ,it is assumed the different scenarios are threads that will eventually come together to make sense, because at this time they don’t .
Ep2 will be watched and if it does not start to make sense , series link will be cancelled . That then leaves Saturday / Sunday TV a wasteland of entertainment , and we will dig into box sets to re watch the likes of Spooks, Silent Witness , Homeland et al . all of which made sense from the start .

2 episodes in to series 4 and I think we're going to give up. Utter garbage. What did happen was entirely predictable and the whole lead up to it was incredibly cringey.
It's really not very good is it? I'll probably stick with it because there isn't a huge amount else on that I'm watching at the moment and it's also the final series but they should have done the decent thing and called it a day after one series, two if I'm being really generous. Haven't watched any of it yet (and still not sure I am in a hurry to), but just wanted to know if Konstantin has maintained his ability to teleport halfway around the world and back in the space of half a day?
Or (in other words) is this as chock-full of continuity errors as the last series...?

And I thought Konstantin was dead... killed off in the last series but I may be getting confused, there's a surprise! Evercross said:

Continuity errors are the least of your worries. Or (in other words) is this as chock-full of continuity errors as the last series...?
It’s gone a bit twin peaks/lost tbh definitely more season 3 than season 1 but I’m still watching it.

Those who are giving up, you’ve possibly invested four years of your life in this? Has the binge era of box sets stolen your patience? It’s not like it was ever not far fetched. It may well turn out to lack substance over style but giving up after two hours. Really?
TBH we binged Killing Eve over lockdown Doesn;t ssem that much style this time round? Got off to a good start with the retro Ducati motorbike going to find Konstantin but ep.2 was more like something out of the Inbetweeners, camping trip with old tents and Jodie Comer in drag hehe

Yes really, I'ii give most things a chance and I never binge watch but Killing Eve has been on a downward slide since series 1 in my opinion, and this one is the tipping point for me.RichB said:

Pretty sure he survived, plus Kim Bodnia has been in the credits for every episode of series 4, so unless he is appearing in flashback or had a twin (nothing would surprise me considering how cack-handed the storytelling and editing was in series 3)....Easternlight said:
Surprised not more comments on this?
Anybody else think it was garbage?
It was rather odd, almost to the point of being garbage.Anybody else think it was garbage?
We'll watch the 2nd episode before deciding if we'll continue.
We watched about 6 of the last Fargo series then binned it off as we thought it was ste.

You know when you watch a great TV series and wish that they'd done more?
Well I suspect the producers of those shows wanted to avoid the situation that has now befallen Killing Eve.
That's the problem when something becomes too popular - you run it past the end of the story (especially if you didnt start with a planned arc) and it all gets weird. And it's even worse if you start to turn it into a parody of itself by pumping up the aspects you think people like.Well I suspect the producers of those shows wanted to avoid the situation that has now befallen Killing Eve.
Peaky Blinders seems to have done the same and there's loads of others that did it too.
If you want to be remembered as great either have a proper planned arc and conclusion, or just leave while people still want more.
