No, I think there are eight episodes.

I'm crawling to the finish with this now...

No spoilers as haven’t watched it yet but I’m sure there were only six episodes in this final season so tonight’s was indeed the last.

Was that the end of the season tonight?
If so was anything actually solved or helped make sense?

I’m sure it was posted originally as six episodes, can now see there’s at least two more. Perhaps even they haven’t decided. All very odd.
Haven’t had the urge to binge or find out what’s going to happen next as before. Watching when bored now and will see it out just because.

The only reason I'm continuing to watch is Jodie Comer, her performance as Villanelle is fantastic. The rest of it is rubbish, they've managed to reduce Constantin to a walking laugh machine, I've lost all interest in the rest of the characters and the music is really annoying me.

Perhaps it's been the wait for the fourth series building the anticipation but it's been really disappointing.

"Anticippointment" - the phenomenon whereby something you've been eagerly awaiting turns out to be a letdown.

I was the same as you. When I was juggling what to watch next I thought " Right, I'll do killing Eve as its only 6 episodes" , but like you, I was surprised to see there was more to come!

Watched the final two episodes last night. In all honesty this whole series has been a bit meh.

Watched the penultimate one last night and didn't really have much of a clue about any kind of plot. Think it was mainly background sound/visuals while we drank and chatted.

Will give the last one a go at some point this evening...

I meant to not come in here because I haven't watched Saturday's yet, though I'm not sure that any spoilers on here would make much difference.

What I did wonder is, if Saturday was 6 of 8, and the next one is on iPlayer on Monday (yesterday), why did the announcer say that was the last? Surely it's the seventh, and there is another to come? Or is the iPlayer show running two episodes in front?

The iPlayer is showing two to download, one with a date of 16th April and one with no date.

Ep7 and 8 were released on iPlayer yesterday.

In America there were shown on Sunday combined as the finale, whereas the BBC has chose to split it up into 2 episodes.

Having now watched the final two episodes I'm relieved it's over and disappointed that something that started out so well has finished so badly.

Having now watched it all the only good thing I can say is it's over. I felt the writers had run out of ideas and it was rushed to a finish with weak and implausible storylines. Such a shame as the first series was so promising.

Yeah, pretty much sums it up really.

That ending was just complete garbage.

TBH the entire premise of the show still makes little sense to me. There was a scene in the campervan where Eve says to V, remember so and so, oh yes you murdered him. V says like, oh yes I do remember him, and then they just carry on with their little romance. Like wtf?

The only redeeming feature was Jodie Comer who has proven herself to be a fantastic actress, looking forward to seeing what she does next.
