I was very surprised to see Kate / Alex win this, I really did think Dan or Sian would get it. I suspect (as Dan hinted at) that everyone voted each other a one star whilst Dan voted Kate something higher. I did wonder what would happen if they all one starred each other, I suspect they all tried. I was even more surprised to see Kate / Alex win the viewers choice, I suppose there's a lot of people out there who like a catfish!

I was surprised to see Kate/ Alex win, my Mrs and I were open mouthed. I get the feeling that Dan had a hand in "Kate's" high vote, but I guess the public, like me actually, felt that Alex had played a fantastic game and done what he set out to do. Luckily in this case, he did it without a sinister ulterior motive.

It's just a shame that now, this show will never be the same. Next season - everyone will be playing the catfish game.

Netflix have already commissioned international versions, according to the BBC.

The next series will be more extreme personalities and consequently worse for it in my opinion. Which is directly opposite to the views of the I's secret TV producer.

Completely stunned with that result being honest. Why on earth did they decide against revealing the final ratings? How did they get around the 1 star conundrum? So many questions to which I doubt we will get the answers. Other than that, I enjoyed it. Sincerely wanted Dan to win the peoples vote. Freddie appears to have been on television several times before; Alex has a very large following too.

I have a feeling that The Circle revealed programme might answer more than a few questions.

It wouldn’t surprise me if it’s revealed to have been a set up. To prove that not only can people be ‘cat fished’ online.

Did anyone see adverts for contestants to apply for this?

If you Google "apply to be on the circle" there are quite a few references and documented sites. If anybody is interested (have not read the thread if this has been mentioned) but it was filmed at Fizzy apartments in Hayes.

I suppose regardless of the open applications, you're only really going to be selected if you "fit".

Great show but I agree with others any 2nd series won't really work and will be rubbish.

I think the scoring in general could have been done better - maybe they should have voted daily but kept it totally anonymous so they didn't know how popular they were at all - with the bottom person removed each time.

Also they must have spent a lot of time sitting around doing nothing so be interesting to see the Uncovered show.

Dan was the winner for me.

Caught up with the last few episodes of this earlier in the week. Worth a watch and actually nice to see an original show for a change.

I thought Dan would have won the public vote for being a nice guy...oh well.

Indeed, jigsaw puzzles can only hold your attention for so long.

Saw this was coming back. Really don't need this waste of time in my life but I found it like crack last year, which is really odd as I don't do reality tv really!

Unfortunately I think series 2 will be like pretty much every reality show when it comes back. People know exactly what to do and won't have gone in blind like the last series. I'll still watch it and keep my fingers crossed that it delivers.

Been made to watch this by kids, I have never seen such a bunch of self-centred wannabes in a long long time.

Like Tim. The lesbian (can't remember her name) comes across as a pretty cool girl, like her. Less keen on the lad being the single mum.

Missed a trick with Richard Madly. They should have given the choice of him actually being himself. Would have been interesting to see if people went with it.

One thing I find odd is how quick people are to let their guard down. They act like best friends within half hour if chatting.

I wonder if Georgina turns her back on Sammie and Paddy she might be able to win it. Otherwise, not a clue, as tactical voting will come in.

Last year it was based on votes over the series wasn’t it? I’m sure there will be a twist tonight. Something like being able to swap someone out, for example Ella back for Paddy out...
