According to my TV & Sat mag 'The Apprentice: Why I Fired Them' is on BBC1 at nine o'clock this evening.
Presumably he just said "because they were all ste". What did they fill the next 59m 50s with?

Dunno, I never watch it but, suggest your analogy is correct.

It was 3 months! Not only has this 'business' only been operating for 3 months, she's made a grand total of around £1200 in sales. So £400 a month. How is that a viable business that Sugar could possibly be interested in? Calling it a 'business' is being incredibly generous and it seems utterly insane he's even entertaining the idea.
I have a horrible feeling she'll end up winning, a good follow up to the cake stall from last year... I think that was last year anyway it just blurs into nothingness once a new series starts hehe

I know exactly what you mean, I can't remember any of last year's bunch now. In fact several of the ones from this year, I've forgotten them the moment they were fired.

I think nut milk lady for the win now. Huge sector and scalable. Enjoyed the way Daniel got ripped at the end, think his former life and big head claims got him in the end.
I'm sure Camilla has ways of generating a lot of nut milk wink

Her current advertising was cracking me up, best bit of the epsiode.

Like you we used to watch it but since it became a cheque for £250k rather than a job the program has lost it's direction. Didn't watch the last few years but somehow got drawn into it again this year. It is strangely watchable probably because the participants are so lightweight. biggrin
Well yes lightweight.

Some the criticism of the candidates is a bit overblown. As an example I am sure Sabrina is a perfectly good Tennis instructor/children's event entertainer. Is she Britain's next top businessperson?, probably not.

You have had a number of people turn up who are probably fairly good at their chosen fields. Whether that be tennis coaching, cleaning, tree surgery, and who want a £250K investment to grow their business. You also get those who want to be a TV "personality".

The only way the quality of the candidates is going to go up is if the investment starts to become the sort of money that could get a serious business off the ground.

I am fairly certain Sian has won.

On instagram all the previous apprentice winners were having a Christmas dinner with the boss at the Sheesh Chigwell.

Sian's Instagram story shows her also there at the same time enjoying food which is certainly Sheesh food and entertainment which is Sheesh entertainment.

What happened to last year's two winners?

Not heard a peep about them, since the show last year.

Any chance we can stop with the amateur sleuthing ?
Some of us don't want to know who the winner is, even if it is not 100% guaranteed.

Oh sorry, go on, what should we discuss with only one episode and two candidates left?

I think it's a stretch to describe stalking somebody on social media as 'sleuthing'.

There can be no sleuthing because the actual winner isn't known until the broadcast of the final show, they film both "winning" and then they only know who has won when they see what ending is broadcast.

From past series they film all the tasks over a few weeks many months ago but the final decider task is usually only filmed in the last month or two.

One of the final 2 was invited to the Xmas do with the previous winners. One of them was not.

Only followed Sian and Camilla on insta as I thought they were both pretty fit.

Anyone remember Susan Ma from the apprentice a few years back, she was also there and looked lovely cloud9

I'm not sure that's any kind of credible justification...

One of my Facebook friends sells the cakes from Alana who won last year, think it's a franchise model where she sells the cakes at events, Christmas markets, etc.

Yes, from Series 7. She is one of the few I do remember!

Another is Miriam Staley from the very first series.
