I don't buy Negan turning in to a whimpering wreck. The rest of the episode went as expected, other than Rick's final scene and the jump.
Hopefully it will improve now.
I was convinced Negan had a shiv or something in his hand when he crawled back into his cell, but now we've had a time jump, it seems less likely.Hopefully it will improve now.

Just read about what Scott Gimple is planning....interesting to see if it works!
I know! Totally unexpected. I seriously just thought all the hype was to get more people watching it and i figured it was all winding down and this would be its final season since more core characters were leaving the show just like FTWD.stop being so selfish!
Well wow i enjoyed the last episode. I've only got into this series this year after my eldest said to watch it. Yes some bits annoying others i've really enjoyed but what a ending.
But who care if the girl would have been knocked on her ass with that large gun. Its TV. I cannot wait until the next episode.

A or B. Is it as simple as make or female maybe?
Good episode, I enjoyed it.
Nope because the Priest was an A and Rock was a B. It could be racial... Unlikely.Good episode, I enjoyed it.
But maybe it's health, Priest was fit and healthy hence A and Rick was battered so possibly B. A's are obviously higher value.

Had to watch this episode, albeit on FFWD for much of the time, just to see what was going on.
I've been totally underwhelmed by the whole Negan story arc once they killed off Glenn (that was brutal, but after it just became tiresome) to the point of giving up on TWD for the last couple of series and him now being a whimpering wreck just seems utterly unconvincing, but taking Rick out and jumping forward a few years is interesting, so I'll be watching the next series (at least for a while!)

Negen isn't daft, he wasnt a genuine whimpering wreck, just listen to him before he came out of the cell.I've been totally underwhelmed by the whole Negan story arc once they killed off Glenn (that was brutal, but after it just became tiresome) to the point of giving up on TWD for the last couple of series and him now being a whimpering wreck just seems utterly unconvincing, but taking Rick out and jumping forward a few years is interesting, so I'll be watching the next series (at least for a while!)

It was all to aid his survival I think, he knew what Maggie wanted to do so to convince her that his life was non existent was the aim of the game.
Will this new turn of events improve the show do we think?
So Judith is now a 10 year-old Ninja who can fire a over-sized penis substitute of a pistol with absolute accuracy at 200m. So I guess 5 years will pass between episodes now?
That's going to make for enough time to completely reset it, they could come back with an 80% new cast and you couldn't call it unrealistic, I seem to recall Andrew Lincoln wasn't the only star who didn't have a contract past episode 5.
So I'm cautiously looking forward to next weeks episode, but I'll be more than disappointed if the story hasn't moved on like the last 5 years off-screen hasn't happened.

I had an amusing theory that all of America was back to normal apart from a massive exclusion zone in which Rick & everyone else are stuck in, unbeknownst to them, fighting their petty battles and trying to get humanity back on track.
I would love it to end with the gang ending up faced with a giant wall and then eventually hoisting themselves up, peering over the top only to see normal folk going to work, life carrying on as normal with cars and general hustle and bustle. They all look at each other and the screen fades to black.

Ah the 'The Village' ending. It would be good if Rick was somehow responsible for keeping them in the dark, you know the old 'started off with a way to control the cheating wife but got used to the power' story. Have to admit I quite enjoyed the episode, for the first time probably since Glenn got batted I was actually invested in the characters and was willing Rick on to survive. Even to the point that I was prepared to overlook Rick losing 54 pints of blood during the episode, having a psychic horse which knew to wait for him round the back of the cabin, and the sticks of dynamite conveniently left on the bridge. Oh, and no-one noticing the helicopter even though the explosion was visible to the trashwomble...
Looking forward to the next few episodes now, hopefully it's found some resurgence.
Oh, and that's right, I called it back on page 5 of this thread

Yep, think we'll end up with an hour of flashbacks and cryptic messages about fk all, then he'll drag himself to the middle of the half finished bridge to lure the herd of walkers and sacrifice himself to make it collapse, saving everyone. He'll end up going in as well, presumed dead. But with enough ambiguity if they ever want to write him back into the script.

I think the camera will pull out and up into the sky and close in on a tiny window where Ed Harris is looking down with a bank of screens behind him logging all the activity that's happened below. Then as he sees Rick knife and decapitate another walker he calls for more extras, a group of very frightened men and women are ushered in. A few try to run but are forced by cattle prod through a door marked "Makeup".

Not sure if anyone noticed (i didn't) but that was also Maggie's last episode...for this season anyway...if she comes back! How random! I had no idea...ah well!!
I must have snoozed through a bit of it. Did she die/go in the helicopter/get abducted by trolls? I just saw her not smash in the head of the person that killed the father of her child. Pretty sure she was then shooting at the zombies on the bridge.Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
