Thry l8ve in a rural area. There will be no shortageof ploughs and stuff lying around, so they'd have no reason to go to a museum and take all the old stuff. They may be "Going back to the old ways", but they could still use modern steel ploughs rather than 200 year old pig iron.

True but it gave them an excuse for the first time since probably Season 1 to have shots of a city scape for a few seconds before they head back to Alexandria / Hilltop for another full season. Would love to see more action in and around the DC area. Sadly I doubt we will see it again any time soon.Start, off to the Smithsonian National Museum of American History to collect a plough an old wooden canoe and an old horse cart (run out of fuel now have they? Is that what the Saviours place is manufacturing?). Have all the zombies left Washington and gone south for the summer? Very few about, apart from the ones that were downstairs wandering around, must be a new interesting exhibit on brains. No real reason given to us what they were doing and why. Surely a trip to any farm would have got a similar and less rickety result. And how can a few humans pull a cart out of a little bit of mud when two horses couldn't.
As mentioned inconsequential character number 1 gets jumped by the world's fastest and most silent dead that still despite weeks or even months of decomposition still has better and stronger teeth than any Oral-B advert to bite through a thick jumper and draw blood. You might moan about the King dangling above 30 zombs and not getting bitten once but at least he wears layers. Ps hint to anyone if they are grabbed by a dead thing that tries to bite their arm, don't just stand their and let it, pull your arm away, then it can't bite you.
RIP Ken, was that his name? Had to look it up. We never knew you but they still subject us to hours (ok 15 minutes) of grieving for someone we never knew by his parents who we never knew existed either.
And the fake glass floor jeopardy, the thing with ropes is that they are long, you don't actually need to be really close to pull something with long rope. Especially something with wheels. Jumping off the side of the stairs onto the solid floor and going around the edge of the glass floor and pulling the cart across using the amazing properties of long rope would have prevented the script writers from working out how the King gets away without dying when he falls through, the jeopardy introduced of the glass cutting the rope was just insane. Also did no one in the writing team ask the question about the glass floor, that it is quite thick to support all the weight that could be on it such as the weight of maximum visitors plus a safety margin compared to the lighter weight of the cart?
The rest was filler for me, bit of a story about Maggie not wanting to go to Alexandria because Rick is there, well you were with him at the Museum and he's at Hilltop with you too, so it can't be that much of an inconvenience. At least she's not pregnant any more. Gregory bumped off, took their time over it. Daryl not happy being in charge of the place and people that caged and tortured him, who thought that would be a good idea, Rick.
Future rumblings of a Saviours rebellion? Most of the bad ones are dead, only 1 of the leaders still alive and she's Daryl's b
h and those others left were all the drones and the working slaves.
Back to the fuel, Daryl always has some for his bike, that noisy zombie attracting bike he always rides.
Has everyone forgotten the helicopter?
Ps. Stupid Rick.

Oh dear!
With the time shift they had an opportunity for little reboot. They could've shown the group as a slick outfit
completely unfazed the grouping of walkers they were dealing with and highly efficient in executing whatever
mission they'd planned.
But no, they're still written as an idiot rabble getting into a major flap at the tiniest drama.
Who writes the museum mission as a plausible pot line?
Scrapheap challenge girl was never questioned about the chopper and none of the group are interested in finding out more
about a group that capable, really?
Anyway, I'm hanging around for this season to learn of the demise of Thick Rick and how feral Maggie gets before bowing out.
With the time shift they had an opportunity for little reboot. They could've shown the group as a slick outfit
completely unfazed the grouping of walkers they were dealing with and highly efficient in executing whatever
mission they'd planned.

My main complaint is the sound! It’s even worse than before. I have to have my soundbar on 30 when it’s usually 14 to try and hear anything, and then the adverts deafen me.
On the way back from the museum, Three young guys on horses are talking, asking if someone would take on another apprentice. I rewinded 3 times and still couldn’t figure out the name of the person they were talking about because the sound is so bad.

Yeah, I heard that too... Shoehorning a single line into the script to explain a preposterpus opening sequence was just lazy, IMO.If they wanted a spectacular opening, why not do something with one of the bridges which all (All? Really?) got destroyed in a storm?
As it is, the storm story was just whatever the opposite is of Deux Ex Machina.

She doesn't want to go to Alexandria because Lucille's former owner is there, not Rick!She's is rightly livid and unforgiving of Ricks decision to keep him alive for several reasons foreshadowed in the episode which I'm sure will leads to JDM's return to prominence later in the series (if I can be arsed to keep watching, this and FTWD have both jumped the shark in the last series!)
