For what it's worth, this half-series has been good and I enjoy watching it again.

It's not as 'must see' as it has been in the past, and I doubt it ever will be again, but I'm enjoying it.

It's a sort of action soap now, and I'm okay with that, there doesn't seem to be an end-goal and I know the comics are still going, so if I do stick with it to the end, I suspect it'll be one of those series that's cancelled between series when the point is reached that it's not making enough money any more to justify it's slot on TV.

Agreed,
and on the gun point, weren't the highwaymen armed with guns, I thought they were?

I thought they had loads of guns when Ezekiel and Carol approached them, but fought by hand when they showed up on the road.

I’m still puzzled by the lack of weapons as the saviours and Ricks crowd were armed to the teeth and although each side confiscated the others at various points, you’d think they still exist.

The whisperers shouldn’t pose any threat, you’d think they could be wiped out fairly easily, yet they seem genuinely terrified of a war with them.

I agree Michonne is the most annoying, even more so than Tara. Perhaps they should hook up, they’d make a nice highly-strung couple.

A couple of random deaths would be good.

I reckon they still have all the guns, but I guess any stock of ammo they have they're trying to use sparingly. If that is the case I wouldn't let Judith roam around happily pushing rounds out of her hand canon! biglaugh Also, guns make noise and noise draws zombies, so another reason to not shoot unless you really have to.

As I understand it Michonne is leaving at the end of this season, as she now has a growing Hollywood career, so she'll likely be gone, either in search of Rick, or bumped off.

Yay!

Maybe everyone else can leave soon too.

I've only watched one episode of this 'half season', and said I'd check back in here from time to time. Well it appears that bugger all has happened since I gave it up. Which isn't any kind of revelation.

That was so boring, I only watch because my wants to, even she can't give a good reason why except habit. Please please please AMC kill it quickly.

That was a filler episode but I really don't want AMC to kill it, this is the first season for a while that it has been interesting. If I had been binging on catch up, I'd be straight on to the next ep after that ending!

If you haven't watched it yet then don't bother, just skip this episode because beyond grumpy sword woman killing a bunch of kids nothing really happened.

I have found a good way to watch, skip the dialogue filler scenes, it reduces the episodes to maybe 10-15min long but it is alot more entertaining and I've not missed anything in terms of the relevant parts of the main storyline.

I thought this back story was pretty awesome. I could go for more pregnant Michonne murdering children.

An entire episode of Michone scowling, wonderful.

Look at it on the bright side, at least it is out of the way now!

I do this. Its the only way i can stomach the boredom. Absolutely nothing happens. If i have to watch one more scene of people in their garden ill throw up.

TBH i think i finally give up on TWD. I laugh too how progressive the cast has become. Daryl or whatever his real name is must have a blast on set hahah i say with rolled eyes. Its like watching the Ronald McDonald charity kids grown up and fighting zombies haha

Yep, definitely a pretty boring filler episode trying to explain why Michonne is so bloody grumpy all the time now. Hopefully it'll get back on track for the remainder of the season and things will properly kick off against the Whisperers.

I don't think there are many episodes left, just checked and it's only 2.

I normally agree with this guy's review, however in this case I don't. I really do feel it was filler, even if it was a pretty gruesome episode with Michonne killing a bunch of kids. It didn't really hit me as hard as when Carol killed that other girl "just look at the flowers".

Naughty Alpha! That final scene came straight out of the comic, different characters but same gruesome ending.

Good episode. Things not looking too good for everyone going into the finale.

That was one of the best ever episodes of TWD. Excellent pacing, well written, great sense of foreboding and an ending right out of cannibal holocaust.

I have enjoyed this season, its not up there with the best, and it's been guilty of treading water now and then, but compared to the last season and a half, it's switched it up, the new show runner has definitely helped things along and taken some risks with the time jump, but it's worked. Also Daryl is getting so much more dialogue now, compared to the last couple of seasons, which I know was a bone of contention among the powers that be & Norman Reedus. Anyway, good stuff and a standout episode.

That was a bit dark, wasn't it?! I hope they keep the momentum going into the last ep.

I am lost on the woman with the green dress and the straw hat, can someone explain please.

She was getting ready to leave with her husband and some others to go to the fair at the beginning, then we see the whisperers got them shown by the womans hat on the ground and alpha scalping her. Then she is seen at the fair acting like she is posessed and then suddenly ending up at alphas daughters side while she is watching a movie.

Please do not tell me that that is in fact Alpha with the womans skinned face mask on because that would be REALLY stupid. Especially considering it is a perfect fit i.e. no indication its a skin mask.

It was the Alpha with the womans scalp on, hence the straw hat. She also had a wash which helped.
